Hive Afritunes || Week 42 || Cover of 'This God is too Good' by @jesus-son

Hello hive Afritunes, I welcome you all to week 42 of Afritunes event. My name is @jesus-son. I will be doing a cover of the song 'This God is too good' by the Nigerian musician, Nathaniel Bassey.

My love for the song is firstly because it talks about the goodness of God who continues to attend to us despite our laxities. God is ever faithful despite our unfaithfulness. He loves us even when we didn't care and patiently waited till we came back to him. The mission of Jesus on earth is a clear example of God's love for us.

For me the song is a reminder of how much God has loved me unconditionally and a question of how I am to reciprocate that love. God does not demand much from me, He only wants me to be close to him and worship him. Not that my worship adds anything to him but for my own edification. Thus I am the beneficiary of my own act of praise to God.

Secondly, I love the man Nathaniel Bassey, he sings in a way that highly motivates me. The way he also plays the trumpet intrigues me a lot, in fact I want to be like him and even surpass him. He is my mentor.
