Hola melómanos,

Este es el segundo vídeo musical que quiero compartirles, les reitero que no soy profesional, apenas un simple aficionado a quien le apasiona la música y que últimamente, durante el encierro, le ha dado por sentarse regularmente al teclado.

Ahora, en pleno siglo XIX, para los jóvenes que se inician en la música no es igual que cuando mis padres me inscribieron en la escuela de música, al principio de los años 80, ósea, hace aproximadamente cuarenta años. Sin embargo, aunque tengas mayor facilidad de acceso a recursos musicales, como partituras online, tutoriales en vídeo, siempre la práctica y la disciplina serán las claves del éxito si quieres interpretar una melodía en cualquier instrumento. Suele parecer fácil en manos de verdaderos músicos, pero cuando tú lo intentas, descubres rápidamente que esas mismas piezas te resultan difíciles.

En mi caso, la interpretación del teclado ha sido un bálsamo esporádico en varias etapas de mi vida, una afición que ejecuto con los conocimientos preliminares de teoría y practica que adquirí, primero en el piano y luego en el órgano electrónico.

Hoy no sé por qué elegí un vals de amor, de quien se dice es el más completo, polifacético e innovador de los músicos venezolanos; el ya fallecido Aldemaro Romero y su "Quinta Anauco". Lo curioso, es haberla prácticamente interpretado de oído, sin el uso de una partitura con base en algunos vídeos en la red y tutoriales, por cierto, muy escasos para esta obra en la red.

Acoto, no es que sea un lector versado de las figuras en el pentagrama, si fuera así, mi viejo libro verde de música de niño me sería fácil, y no es así. No obstante, contar con la partitura me habría facilitado mucho el trabajo.

Les confieso es la única obra que conozco del maestro Romero y que había tarareado desde joven. "Quinta Anauco" es un tema escrito para una escena de amor de la película italo-venezolana "Simón Bolívar - La epopeya de Bolívar" del año 1969. La tradición oral y anecdótica atribuye el título del tema musical, al hecho de que el sobre que contenían los arreglos musicales que el motorizado entregó a los productores decía "Quinta Anauco", para indicar el lugar de destino, allí se filmaba la escena de amor, en la famosa casa colonial de Caracas con ese nombre. Así que los productores pensaron que este era el nombre del tema. Posteriormente al preguntarle al maestro él dijo que lo dejara así, entre risas.

La letra es simple y hermosa, perfecta para la música:

Espero les guste, no sé cuántas veces la repetí, llegó a dolerme las yemas de los dedos, pero al final disfruté el proceso, desde las múltiples interpretaciones en el teclado en búsqueda del sentimiento y ritmo que me satisficiera, como también el proceso de toma y edición de audio y vídeo que hoy les traigo.

This is the second music video that I want to share with you, I reiterate that I am not a professional, just a simple fan who is passionate about music and who lately, during the confinement, has given him to sit regularly at the music keyboard.

Now, in the middle of the 19th century, for young people who are just starting out in music, it is not the same as when my parents enrolled me in music school, at the beginning of the 80s, that is, about forty years ago. However, although today you have easier access to musical resources, such as online scores, video tutorials; practice and discipline will always be the keys to success if you want to play a melody on any instrument. It usually seems easy in the hands of real musicians, but when you try it, you quickly discover that those same pieces are difficult for you.

In my case, keyboard performance has been a sporadic balm in various stages of my life, a hobby that I execute with the preliminary knowledge of theory and practice that I acquired, first on the piano and then on the electronic organ.

Today I do not know why I chose a waltz of love, who is said to be the most complete, versatile, and innovative Venezuelan musicians; the late Aldemaro Romero and his "Quinta Anauco". The curious thing is that it was practically played by ear, without the use of a score based on some online videos and tutorials, by the way, very scarce for this online work.

I am not a well-versed reader of the figures on the staff, if it were so, my old green book of music as a child would be easy for me and it is not. However, having the score would have made my job much easier.

I confess to you it is the only work that I know of the master Romero and that he had hummed since he was young. "Quinta Anauco" is a song written for a love scene from the Italian-Venezuelan film "Simón Bolívar - La epic de Bolívar" from 1969. Oral and anecdotal tradition attributes the title of the song, to the fact that the envelope that contained the musical arrangements that the motorized one gave to the producers said "Quinta Anauco" to indicate the destination, the love scene was filmed there, in the famous colonial house of Caracas with that name. So the producers thought that this was the name of the song. Later, when asking the teacher, he said to leave it like that, laughing.
