A Simple Spring Water Capture And Holding Tank System Explained

This video explains how I did a very simple low tech spring water capture and holding tank system for drinking water purposes.

This system wound up working for more than a year, produced very little silt. I only made minor changes to it during its use which included modifying the overflow from the small holding tank to fill a fifty gallon barrel for utility water purposes, running a longer piece of irrigation tubing from the small holding tank into the 'yard' so that my drinking water is more accessible and burying the tanks and all the water lines under a thick layer of leaves and twigs to prevent them from freezing.

The audio gets muffled a bit in the first part of the video but then it clears up.
