Hive Orientation & OCD Onboarding with Teachers from Kal-anan National High School

Just sharing some snippets from our Hive orientation and @ocd onboarding program last July 29, 2023. We were invited by @selflessgem and @missjoyces to their school and we were supported by the rest of the onboarders namely @callmesmile, @naymhapz, @ciadanmea, and @jobeliever.

Also, @annetimistic, @netswriting, @mrexperienciado, and @netswriting was there too. Perhaps they wanted to learn how we do it so they can confidently initiate their onboarding programs in the future. 😉

This time around we had the spaciousness to maximize our time and tackle more topics only because @ybanezkim26 and @intoy.bugoy stayed at my place the night before so we can be on time for this event the next day. I felt that we had so much fun this time around as we had more interaction or engagement with our audience. I appreciate the openness and curiosity of all those who attended.

Despite the technical difficulties we encountered (internet connection issues) we somehow manage to discuss with ease and flow what needed to be shared. I have mentally noted that during our next onboarding program, we should have backup files or videos for the part where we had to show them how to navigate the peakd interface in case the internet issue happens again.

I am grateful to @intoy.bugoy for confidently doing his part of the orientation, to @ybanezkim26 for sharing his valuable insights, and to our teachers for always taking charge of our delicious snacks/meals and all other preparations needed for an event like this. In a way, this has taken the burden from us speakers and we could lean more into the easeful discussion of Hive.

It has been an amazing collaboration from all of us which makes our onboarding programs a fruitful one. I am looking forward to more in the future.
