HIVELEARNERS CREATIVE SUNDAY || CALLED ME HIGHER COVER

Hello everyone, it's another Sunday to share something creative and here I am with an Acapella song cover titled CALLED ME HIGHER sang by an Acapella group called REGEN HARMONY. I know singing an Acapella version of a song can be a hassel but then I somehow enjoy it than singing with an instrumental. There are a lot of benefits singing with an instrumental of a song that I'm supposed to be leveraging on but somehow I still find myself taking the other way.

I love Acapella songs especially those ones sang by groups, the harmony is just superb and I don't get tired filling my ears with those harmonies at all. This song I sang today was sang by one of my favorite Acapella groups called Regen Harmony as I mentioned earlier. The group is made up of young people with amazing voices. If there is one thing I love so much, it would be singing with a group and that is because I'm not a lead singer, I do the back ups because I believe I'm better at that than taking a lead part.

Coming to hive and having the opportunity to go solo, I now get the opportunity to improve on my voice as a lead singer but I don't think I'm still ready 😂, I believe lead singers must always have a very flexible voice which I obviously don't have and it's becoming really hard to learn how to be so flexible but anyways I'd keep trying and hopefully someday I can get it right, hehe.

The song has a really interesting lyrics that I'd love you to pay attention to. The song revolves around the love Christ has for us that he even gave us the choice of making the choices ourselves. There is a part of the song that says "I could hold on to who I am and never let you change me from the inside or I could be safe here in your arms and Never leave home". As you can see the choice is ours to make but we just have to know that God is calling us higher.

I had the plans of adding some harmonies to the song but I just couldn't get the opportunity to because we have a baby at home that was ready to sing along, lol. So I could only get the opportunity to do a single Harmony and I hope you do enjoy it. I just hope that someone is not tired of me singing an Acapella cover because I don't plan stopping anytime soon but I'd try to put in an instrumental cover once in a while.
