Llegó la 3era Ronda del Hive Music Festival ! Saludos a los participantes y organizadores de éste maravilloso evento de la Web 3.0, pudimos presenciar en la primera y segunda Ronda un despliegue magnífico de canciones y piezas instrumentales.

Gracias a la Santa Providencia por permitirme una vez más participar con todos mis colegas, éste festival a pesar de ser una competencia, realmente siempre la he sentido como un evento familiar, dónde pienso que compartir es más importante que competir.

Por éso hoy quiero compartir con ustedes lo que puede ser mi despedida de Navidad, ya que revisando entre mis antiguas partituras de guitarra, encontré un aguinaldo de los que recopiló Vicente Emilio Sojo, el famoso Niño Lindo, un arreglo de guitarra hecho por el maestro de maestros: Alirio Díaz.

Sinceramente pensé que iba a ser fácil interpretarlo, pero me llevé una gran sorpresa al ver lo difícil que era, ya que la pieza tiene 3 elementos típicos en los arreglos del Maestro Alirio Díaz.

Y ésto en la guitarra es una desafío enorme, ya que poder destacar cada voz (ya que son 3), es bastante complejo! Éste arreglo me recordó mucho a la música de Johann Sebastian Bach, ya que el gran compositor del Barroco podía introducir en cualquier de sus composiciones hasta 7 voces y todas sonaban coherentes y nítidas! (Espero en las próximas ediciones del festival, poder tocar música de Johann Sebastian Bach, que es un devoción completa a Dios.)

Por éso no debemos Juzgar un libro por su portada, realmente fue difícil tocar el arreglo y todavía me falta mucho por trabajar la pieza para que suene en su más alto esplendor, sin embargo, quería presentarla para ésta Ronda ya que me encanta su sonoridad Barroca-Venezolana.

The 3rd Round of the Hive Music Festival is here ! Greetings to the participants and organizers of this wonderful Web 3.0 event, we were able to witness in the first and second Round a magnificent display of songs and instrumental pieces.

Thanks to Santa Providencia for allowing me once again to participate with all my colleagues, this festival despite being a competition, I have always really felt it as a family event, where I think that sharing is more important than competing.

That's why today I want to share with you what could be my Christmas farewell, as I was looking through my old guitar scores, I found one of the aguinaldo compiled by Vicente Emilio Sojo, the famous Niño Lindo, a guitar arrangement made by the master of masters: Alirio Díaz.

I honestly thought it was going to be easy to play it, but I was very surprised to see how difficult it was, because the piece has 3 typical elements in the arrangements of Maestro Alirio Diaz.

And this on the guitar is a huge challenge, since being able to highlight each voice (since there are 3), is quite complex! This arrangement reminded me a lot of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, since the great Baroque composer could introduce in any of his compositions up to 7 voices and they all sounded coherent and clear! (I hope in the next editions of the festival, to play music by Johann Sebastian Bach, which is a complete devotion to God).

That's why we should not judge a book by its cover, it was really difficult to play the arrangement and I still have a lot of work to do to make the piece sound in its highest splendor, however, I wanted to present it for this Round because I love its Baroque-Venezuelan sonority.
