So happy to be here today with this week's presentation and I want to welcome you all to Hive open mic week 162. Today I will be doing a cover of the song "It'll be Okay" by Shawn Mendes which goes in line with the theme of this week which says "Be Okay". Shoutout to @maryjacy for choosing such a wonderful theme.

This particular song talks about a guy telling his lover it will be okay if she decided to end things with him. I assume things are no longer going smoothly in the relationship and he's thinking going their separate ways is the next best solution. In as much as its hard to end a relationship, sometimes it's the best decision to take. But then again we shouldn't jump into that if we know we haven't tried our best yet. Relationships are golden and are supposed to be cherished. Upon trying and working hard, if things aren't still working out its best to go separate ways in other to spare each other pains and sadness. The subject of the song went further to tell her, whatever decision she makes, he's gonna love her either ways.

Time always heal things so even if its difficult now, it'll later get better.

Estoy muy feliz de estar aquí hoy con la presentación de esta semana y quiero darles la bienvenida a todos a la semana 162 de micrófono abierto de Hive. Hoy haré una versión de la canción "It'll be Okay" de Shawn Mendes que va en línea con el tema de esta semana que dice "Estar bien". Gracias a @maryjacy por elegir un tema tan maravilloso.

Esta canción en particular habla de un chico que le dice a su amante que estará bien si ella decide terminar con él. Asumo que las cosas ya no van bien en la relación y él está pensando que ir por caminos separados es la siguiente mejor solución. Si bien es difícil terminar una relación, a veces es la mejor decisión que se puede tomar. Pero, de nuevo, no deberíamos saltar a eso si sabemos que aún no hemos hecho nuestro mejor esfuerzo. Las relaciones son doradas y se supone que deben ser apreciadas. Al intentar y trabajar duro, si las cosas aún no funcionan, lo mejor es ir por caminos separados para ahorrarse dolores y tristezas. El tema de la canción fue más allá al decirle que, sea cual sea la decisión que tome, él la amará de cualquier forma.

El tiempo siempre cura las cosas, así que aunque sea difícil ahora, luego mejorará.
