¡Hola mis amores!

El viernes santo representa una fecha de importancia en mi familia, y como villacurana y fiel devota del Santo Sepulcro tengo predilección por visitar la Casa del Santo en mi ciudad Villa de cura, edo. Aragua, Venezuela para agradecer por cada bendición y deseo concedido y pedir por este mundo para que se llene de amor y alegría en cada rincón.

Historias que he aprendido con el tiempo me han enseñado la casualidad y el milagro envuelven tan magnifica figura, el simple hecho de que las voces insignes de la ciudad tomen como un “milagro” su aparición en Villa de Cura, le otorga un toque místico.

Se dice que la figura fue entregada por error, otros que fue encargada en su perfección, la verdad lo único que se tiene presente es la manera en la que funciona como un pegamento para los creyentes que como hermanos acompañan su figura por la calles, en una procesión que inicia a las 9am y culmina a las 3pm aproximadamente y un regreso a donde reposa la imagen desde las 7pm hasta las 2am.

Hello my loves!

Good Friday represents a date of importance in my family, and as a villacurana and faithful devotee of the Holy Sepulcher I have a predilection to visit the House of the Saint in my city Villa de cura, edo. Aragua, Venezuela to thank for every blessing and wish granted and ask for this world to be filled with love and joy in every corner.

Stories that I have learned over time have taught me that coincidence and miracle surround such a magnificent figure, the simple fact that the insignificant voices of the city take as a "miracle" its appearance in Villa de Cura, gives it a mystical touch.

It is said that the figure was delivered by mistake, others that it was commissioned in its perfection, the truth the only thing that is present is the way in which it works as a glue for the believers that as brothers accompany his figure through the streets, in a procession that begins at 9am and ends at 3pm approximately and a return to where the image rests from 7pm until 2am.

Mi experiencia

El día de hoy salí a las 6:30 am con la intención de ingresar a la casa y tener tomas con mi amigo @byercatire, desde la salida del Santo hasta su ingreso en la iglesia y la verdad que el ambiente que se tenía en las inmediaciones de la casa es muestra de fe.

No fue nada sencillo grabar por la cantidad de personas, pero quede maravillada ya que nunca había tenido la oportunidad de seguir la procesión de principio a fin.

Personas arrodilladas, arrastrándose, con ojos vendados, vestidos de blanco y morado y por supuesto cargando el santo sepulcro (entre 60-80 personas aprox.), son los creyentes que con milagros cumplidos y promesas por cumplir agradecen a la imagen.

My experience

Today I left at 6:30 am with the intention of entering the house and have shots with my friend @byercatire, from the departure of the saint until his entrance into the church and the truth is that the atmosphere that was in the vicinity of the house is a sign of faith.

It was not easy to record because of the number of people, but I was amazed because I had never had the opportunity to follow the procession from beginning to end. People kneeling, crawling, blindfolded, dressed in white and purple and of course carrying the holy sepulcher (between 60-80 people approx.), are the believers who with miracles fulfilled and promises to be fulfilled thank the image.

Mi sentir

Como villacurana me siento orgullosa de nacer en el seno de tanta riqueza cultural y donde la devoción se observa en cada rostro que transita por las calles. La verdad lágrimas llenaron mi rostro cuando mire entre tantas personas las ganas de la procesión se diera de la mejor manera.

Además, no puedo dejar de agradecer al Santo Sepulcro por darme la oportunidad de filmar su trayecto ya que el fue mi luz, guía y fuerza, porque no sentí calor ni malestar mientras me sumergía en el mar de gente.

Para ustedes deseo las mayores bendiciones, creyentes o no son parte de mi sueño, por eso quise regalar este video que representa una tradición tan importante en mi corazón.

My feelings

As a villacurana I feel proud to be born in the heart of such cultural richness and where devotion is seen in every face that passes through the streets. The truth is that tears filled my face when I looked among so many people and the desire for the procession to be given in the best way.

In addition, I can not fail to thank the Holy Sepulcher for giving me the opportunity to film his journey because he was my light, guide and strength, because I did not feel heat or discomfort while I was immersed in the sea of people.

I wish you the greatest blessings, believers or not you are part of my dream, that's why I wanted to give you this video that represents a tradition so important in my heart.
