Splinterlands Art Contest 282 - DEATH ELEMENTAL Money Art Painting [ENG-ESP]

Hello friends, I hope you are well, this time I come to participate in the weekly Splinterlands contest with a painting made on a worthless bill from my country Venezuela. For this I chose the card called Death Elemental, a powerful card with a very terrifying design, I have painted its figure from a bill leaving only the background as decoration, in this short video I show step by step how I did it, I hope you like it.

Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, en esta oportunidad vengo a participar en el concurso semanal de Splinterlands con una pintura realizada en un billete sin valor de mi país Venezuela. Para esto escogí la carta llamada Death Elemental, una carta poderosa y de diseño muy aterrador, he pintado su figura a partir de un billete dejando solamente el fondo como decoración, en este corto video muestro paso a paso como lo hice espero que les guste.

I chose a bill that had a blue and purple background so that it contrasted with the color of the letter. I first made the silhouette with pencils and then painted it white. I did this to cover the original design since it cannot be seen well. the strokes.

Elegí un billete que tuviera como fondo color azul y púrpura para que contrastara con el color de la carta, hice primero la silueta con lápiz y después la pinte de color blanco, esto lo hice para tapar el diseño original ya que no se logra apreciar bien los trazos.

Then I started combining the paints to bring out several different shades of purple, since Death Elemental uses these kinds of colors that symbolize evil. With a thin and soft brush I began to paint the entire top part.

Luego comencé a combinar las pinturas para sacar varios tonos de púrpuras diferentes, ya que Death Elemental utiliza esta clase de colores que simbolizan al mal. Con un pincel fino y suave comencé a pintar toda la parte de arriba.

In the same way I continue painting the entire figure of the face, varying between the shades of purple that I combined before, to which I also add a little blue for the most illuminated parts.

De la misma forma sigo pintando toda la figura del rostro variando entre los tonos de púrpura que combiné antes, a los cuales también agrego un poco de azul para las partes más iluminadas.

Finally I draw the teeth and eyes, I really liked the eyes because they have a pink glow, I understand that the pink tone in Japanese culture is seen as evil, that is why villains in anime are always represented with this color.

Por último dibujo los dientes y los ojos, me gustaron mucho los ojos porque tienen un resplandor de un tono rosa, tengo entendido que el tono rosa en la cultura japonesa es visto como el mal, por eso los villanos en el ánime siempre son representados con este color

FINAL WORK

This is how it was finished, what do you think of the design? I think I will make more cards using bills, I think the result would be great, although it is very difficult to draw on this paper, the ink is easily diluted since the paper does not absorb anything, and the paint must be poured at least twice to that the drawing looks good. Así quedó finalizado, qué les parece el diseño? creo que haré más cartas utilizando billetes, creo que el resultado sería genial, aunque es muy dificil dibujar encima de este papel, la tinta se diluye con facilidad ya que el papel no absorbe nada, y la pintura debe ser echada dos veces como mínimo para que el dibujo quede bien.
