    Saludos, comunidad

    Greetings, community
I did not know about the existence of this tribe here in the Hive and as soon as I got in I was amazed by the amount of good publications and the quality of the great majority of the works. There are many talented people. I have practically no experience, I only took a few short courses in Chinese calligraphy and Zen drawing. But in this quarantine I took the opportunity to deal a little with the depression, taking up again that cathartic side that the plastic arts have. For now, I only have some watercolors and brushes, although I plan to make an incursion into oil painting, to see if I can remember the bases of a painting course I took when I was a child, but I will require also a new course, If you could recommend me one I will be very grateful.
In the case of the video I show you today, it was not even necessary to use the watercolors, I simply used water. The mat is a special felt mat that is usually used for this practice, it comes with the grid already made so that one can work better on the proportions of the characters. It is very common for people to resort to this practice as a form of relaxation and meditation.
The drawing is the pictogram used to represent the number nine in Chinese and Japanese alike. In Japanese phonetics one can read: "ku", "kyuu" or "kokono".
