Ramsey Lewis - Sun Goddess (1974) JAPANESE VINYL RIP

This is a new project I'm starting on HIVE where I'll be sharing some of my favourite records in my collection. These are recordings I make directly from my turntable, through Audacity, decrackled in RX8 and compiled in Premiere.

I decided on #souljazz to capture the spirit of this project. These will be songs with jazz influences but fused together with genres like funk, pop, rock, folk. Hence 'jazz fusion'.

I collect a lot of Japanese music, which includes Japanese pressings of Western music. So to start things off, I've chosen the title track from Ramsey Lewis' 1974 album "Sun Goddess".

If you want to check out the full album, I've put the vinyl recording on my YouTube channel. But of course, this particular track is copyrighted and cannot be played outside of Japan (ironic?). So this opening track has been muted on my channel. Another win for HIVE!
