Nuevamente tengo el grato placer de poder compartirles mi entrada para esta tercera semana del festival, realmente estoy agradecida de este tiempo no sólo por compartir mi talento con ustedes sino por tener la oportunidad de conocer y relacionarme con personas tan hermosas que tienen una calidez única, la verdad es que tengo un profundo aprecio y respeto por cada uno de ustedes.

Por poco pensé que no podría participar esta semana, pero sin entrar en detalles de los contratiempos que tuve, finalmente les he traído el resultado de mi esfuerzo de esta semana. En esta oportunidad les traigo un tema que respeto mucho, "Alfonsina y el mar" es una de esas obras que te dejan el corazón triste al conocer su historia, me eriza la piel cada verso y la manera en que se relata el suicidio de esta mujer, sin duda no es una pieza fácil de interpretar por muchos aspectos que están en juego, pero para mí ha Sido un honor traerla para esta semana.

Once again I have the pleasure to share with you my entry for this third week of the festival, I am really grateful for this time not only for sharing my talent with you but for having the opportunity to meet and interact with such beautiful people who have a unique warmth, the truth is that I have a deep appreciation and respect for each of you.

I almost thought I would not be able to participate this week, but without going into details of the setbacks I had, I have finally brought you the result of my effort this week. In this opportunity I bring you a theme that I respect very much, "Alfonsina y el mar" is one of those works that leave your heart sad when you know its history, each verse makes my skin crawl and the way in which the suicide of this woman is told, without a doubt it is not an easy piece to interpret because of many aspects that are in play, but for me it has been an honor to bring it for this week.

No le había prestado atención a la letra sino hasta hace unos días y de hecho me movió un poco las emociones y ya después no quería cantarla porque para serles sincera me sentí perturbada esos días que estuve estudiando la pieza. Como artistas somos tan sensibles a lo que sucede a nuestro alrededor que podemos tomar las cosas muy a pecho y en mi caso cuando se trata de interpretar me pongo un poco intensa. Después de relajarme un día entero, pude estar más tranquila y traerles este cover, omití la segunda estrofa para hacerla un poco más íntima pues es un poco larga.

I had not paid attention to the lyrics until a few days ago and in fact it moved my emotions a little bit and then I didn't want to sing it because to be honest I felt disturbed those days I was studying the piece. As artists we are so sensitive to what is going on around us that we can take things to heart and in my case when it comes to performing I get a little intense. After relaxing for a whole day, I was able to be calmer and bring you this cover, I omitted the second stanza to make it a little more intimate because it is a little long.

Me encantaría que si aún no conoces esta historia y está canción te tomaras el tiempo de hacerlo ya que es una joya que ha Sido interpretada por muchísimos cantantes de renombre.
