I thank God for being part of this family since I arrived to it in week 70 🙌😀💛.

Going into the subject, there are many ways to interpret this theme phrase, I in particular, I will literally take this to the extreme with the song that I will present today....

I believe that as human beings there are many situations with respect to the way we relate to each other, that bring out the best or the worst in each one of us, and that will be determined by our personality and the congruence between our values, upbringing, education and way of acting. If we look for some of those situations that can take us to the extreme, we could elaborate a good documentation of life experiences among all, however, I want to focus on one that manages to mark us at the level of feelings for a long time and I refer specifically to the betrayal...

We can see betrayal in families, in relationships, in friendships and in our social circle in general, and nothing is as painful as when someone you trust to the fullest turns his back on you at a peak moment... now I ask you... What do you think motivates betrayal?... I would like to know what you think in the comments.

Sometimes there are apparent reasons, sometimes there are not, but what is certain is that betrayal awakens our dark side and leads us to a strong internal debate that makes us question our words, thoughts and actions... and even, it leads us to a big moral dilemma where hate, anger, disappointment and sadness are the protagonists that consciously and unconsciously direct our behavior.

I would be lying if I said that no one here has been betrayed or that no one here has betrayed with or without wanting to; I think that this is something that we must live in order to understand the dynamics of life and also the assertive management of our emotions. If we take this to a spiritual plane and taking into account that we are in Holy Week, Jesus was betrayed by someone who claimed to love him... I ask you now: What would you have done in the place of this character taking into account the story as we know it?... sometimes human nature can go too far without measuring the consequences... can you imagine if this had not happened like this?....

The truth is that there are many factors that trigger this behavior, one of them mainly, is survival; for that reason we must be as genuine and authentic as possible to avoid situations that compromise even the life of someone else. We have the right and the duty to choose, to be in tune with what we think, say, do and feel, but the key to this is not going over someone else's head, being honest with ourselves first and always trying to do good and more if we profess a powerful belief that moves the masses from the positive, healthy and just.

Today with this presentation I want to take my guttural singing to the extreme, so I present the song "Comfort Betrays" referring precisely to what it feels like to be betrayed by someone dear to us. This song belongs to the 4th studio album of the American metalcore band As I Lay Dying called "An Ocean Between Us" released in 2007.

If we analyze the lyrics of the song, it is practically a vent, so it is very heavy on instrumental and vocal level, which honors what I wrote above...

Hola amigos de Hive y de mi familia Hive Open Mic; es un gusto para mi acompañarles en otra semana más en donde un gran amigo y hermano, el gran @wbrandt, tuvo el honor de elegir la temática que nos guiaría en nuestro camino musical durante estos días y a la cual decidió nombrar: "Hasta el Extremo". Además haciendo cálculos, esta semana sería la que celebra el 3er aniversario de la comunidad desde su inicio, así que mis saludos a todos los músicos que iniciaron esta aventura y le dieron vida hasta lo que es hoy y a cada uno de los participantes que con su valioso aporte musical hacen crecer más la consigna de Armonía Global... doy gracias a Dios por ser parte de esta familia desde que arribé a ella en la semana 70 🙌😀💛.

Entrando en materia, existen muchas formas de interpretar dicha frase de la temática, yo en lo particular, literalmente llevaré esto hasta el extremo con la canción que hoy les presentaré...

Creo que como seres humanos existen muchas situaciones con respecto a la forma en como nos relacionamos, que logran sacar lo mejor o lo peor de cada quien y eso, va a ir determinado por nuestra personalidad y la congruencia que hay entre nuestros valores, crianza, educación y forma de actuar. Si buscamos con precisión algunas de esas situaciones que nos pueden llevar al extremo, podríamos elaborar una buena documentación de experiencias de vida entre todos, sin embargo, me quiero centrar en una que logra marcarnos a nivel de sentimientos por un buen tiempo y me refiero específicamente a la traición...

La traición la podemos ver en las familias, en las relaciones de pareja, en las amistades y en nuestro círculo social en general, y es que nada es tan doloroso, como cuando alguien en quien confías al máximo te da la espalda en un momento cumbre... ahora les pregunto... ¿Qué creen ustedes que motiva la traición?... me gustaría saber que piensan en los comentarios.

A veces hay razones aparentes, a veces no las hay, pero lo que es seguro es que la traición despierta nuestro lado oscuro y nos lleva a un debate interno fuerte que nos hace cuestionar nuestras palabras, pensamientos y actos.. e incluso, nos lleva a un dilema moral grande en donde el odio, la rabia, la decepción y la tristeza son los protagonistas que dirigen de manera consciente e inconsciente nuestra conducta.

Mentiría si dijera que a ninguno aquí lo han traicionado o que ninguno ha traicionado con o sin querer; pienso que eso es algo que debemos vivir para poder entender la dinámica de la vida y también el manejo asertivo de nuestras emociones. Si llevamos esto a un plano espiritual y teniendo en cuenta que estamos en la Semana Santa, Jesús fue traicionado y entregado por alguien que decía quererlo... te pregunto ahora: ¿Qué hubieses hecho en el lugar de este personaje teniendo en cuenta la historia como la conocemos?... a veces la naturaleza humana puede llegar muy lejos sin medir las consecuencias... se imaginan si esto no hubiera pasado así?...

Lo cierto es que hay muchos factores que desencadenan esta conducta, uno de ellos principalmente, es la supervivencia; por tal motivo debemos ser lo más genuinos y auténticos posible para evitar llegar a situaciones que comprometan incluso la vida de alguien más. Tenemos el derecho y el deber de elegir, de estar en sintonía con lo que pensamos, decimos, hacemos y sentimos, pero la clave de esto es que no sea pasando por encima de alguien más, siendo sinceros con nosotros mismos primeramente y tratando de hacer siempre el bien y más si profesamos alguna creencia poderosa que mueva masas desde lo positivo, lo sano y lo justo.

Hoy con esta presentación quiero llevar hasta el extremo mi canto gutural, por lo que les presento la canción "Comfort Betrays" (La Comodidad Traiciona) referida justamente a lo que se siente ser traicionado por alguien querido para nosotros. Esta canción pertenece al 4to álbum de estudio de la banda norteamericana de metalcore As I Lay Dying (Mientras Yacía Muriendo) llamado "An Ocean Between Us" (Un Océano Entre Nosotros) lanzado en el año 2007.

Si analizamos la letra de la canción, es prácticamente un desahogo, por ello es bien pesada a nivel instrumental y de voz, lo que hace honor a lo que he escrito anteriormente...
