Hello Hive and Hive Open Mic family, I thought I wasn't going to be able to participate, but here I am once again with you all to rock out with this new theme called “Good Luck”. I hope you are well and that your weekend is going great with your loved ones.

In some places in Colombia there is a very famous phrase that says: “luck is that I wish you”, it is an ironic phrase because it is usually used when one ends a discussion with someone, leaving to chance what happens with the other person. At first glance we can assume, that whoever uses it is not looking for an open conflict with the other and it is so; when we talk about relationships and traumatic breakups, I have heard how those involved say this phrase to each other that even became popularized by some soap operas on television.

It will never be easy to get away from someone with whom you shared so much, the mourning will be relative depending on how long the relationship lasted. Regardless of this, forgiveness should be the step to follow, however, we must keep in mind that not all heal the same, forgiveness is a process that begins with oneself and then apply it to the other.

The song I bring you today, presents that exact moment when once and for all, the link with the loved one is completely cut. Gravity is the sixth studio album by the metalcore band Bullet For My Valentine and “Letting You Go” is the 4th and last single from the album released in 2018.

For this cover I worked with melodic and guttural voice, I apologize in advance because when gutturals are done, the vocalization is not very understandable. Hola familia de Hive y del Hive Open Mic, pensé que no iba a poder participar, pero aquí estoy una vez más con todos ustedes para rockear con esta nueva temática llamada "Buena Suerte". Espero que se encuentren bien y que su fin de semana vaya genial con sus seres amados.

En algunos lugares de Colombia hay una frase muy famosa que dice: "suerte es que te deseo", es una frase irónica porque se suele usar cuando uno culmina una discusión con alguien, dejando al azar lo que ocurra con la otra persona. A simple vista podemos asumir, que quien la usa no busca un conflicto abierto con el otro y es así; cuando hablamos de relaciones de pareja y rupturas traumáticas, he escuchado como los involucrados se dicen esta frase que incluso se popularizó por algunas novelas en la televisión.

Nunca será fácil alejarse de alguien con quien se compartió tanto, el duelo será relativo en función del tiempo que duró la relación. Independientemente de esto, el perdón debe ser el paso a seguir, sin embargo, debemos tener en cuenta que no todos sanamos igual, el perdón es un proceso que empieza por uno mismo para luego aplicarlo en el otro.

La canción que hoy les traigo, nos presenta ese momento exacto cuando de una vez por todas, se corta por completo ese vínculo con el ser que se amó. Gravity es el sexto álbum de estudio de la banda de metalcore Bullet For My Valentine y "Letting You Go" es el 4to y último sencillo del disco lanzado en el año 2018.

Para este cover trabajé con voz melódica y gutural, de antemano pido disculpas porque cuando se hacen guturales, la vocalización no es muy entendible.
