An Ode to the Girl Who I Could Never Write

Girl | Girl I | Girl II | Girl III | Girl IV | Girl V | Girl VI | Girl VII | Girl VIII | Girl IX | Girl X | Girl XI | Girl XII | Girl XIII | Girl XIV | Girl XV | Girl XVI | Girl XVII | Girl XVIII | Girl XIX | Girl XIX

    she returned
    with her mind
    clouded by flowers
    poetic leaves
    decorated with her lips
    she danced
    with my heart

She returned with a bouquet of fynbos flowers and her mind was clouted by poetry. I looked at her beauty like the words of poetry in an old book. I read her mind and body like a beautifully sad novel that I could not put down.

Another day, another post about a girl, but this time, I tried the new ecency function of adding a video in the post. I hope that it works. At the end of the post, I will also post a YouTube link of the same video, for if the ecency one is not working, because I think the video came out really nicely.

In any case, I hope you enjoy this post. I disperse random lines of poetry between some of the photographs, but if you prefer just the photographs, please scroll past the juxtaposed words.

A Video of a Girl with Flowers

A Mind Full of Flowers - Random Haikus

    Random Haikus

    she hid between the
    flowers - bright emotions told
    the story anew

    fynbos flowers in
    her hands with poetry on
    her seductive lips

    she picked the flowers
like random words from her mind
    to make poetry

    fynbos smells honey
    scented flowers delicious
    treats for my plain mind

    delicious honey
    cover your poetry mind
    with my callous hands

    let your hair fall down
with the flowers and your mind
    so that I can dream

    write your words on my
    face with your poetic tongue
    drench me in honey

    silence and nothing
    after the fynbos shadows
    your body droops raw

Postscriptum, or I handed her a Bouquet of Flowers

I uploaded the video here on ecency firstly and then on YouTube if the first attempt did not work. I really liked how it came out and wanted to share it with you in any format.

In any case, I handed my girl a bouquet of flowers, and I wrote her some poetry. She is feeling a bit sick, so I hope that my poetic attempts will make her feel a little bit better.

I hope you liked the photographs and the video. It is something new, and I would appreciate any feedback.

For now, happy photographing and stay safe.

All of the photographs are my own, and the video as well. I uploaded it to both ecency and YouTube. The photographs were taken with my Nikon D300 and Nikkor 50mm lens. The video was taken with my Nikon D3200. The poetry and writings are also my own creations.
