Hola amigos, bienvenidos de regreso a la grieta del Invocador. Ahora, ¿Te gusta explorar el mapa, sorprender a tus enemigos y ayudar a tu equipo a ganar? Entonces tal vez deberías probar la posición de jungla.

Esta una de las posiciones más importantes y divertidas del juego, pero también una de las más difíciles y exigentes. En este post te vamos a explicar qué es la jungla, cómo se juega, y te daremos algunos consejos y recomendaciones para que puedas dominarla como un profesional.

¿Qué es la jungla?

La jungla es el área que se encuentra entre los tres carriles del mapa, donde hay una serie de monstruos neutrales que otorgan oro, experiencia y beneficios al ser eliminados. Estos monstruos se llaman campamentos, y hay varios tipos:

• El Brambleback Rojo y el Centinela Azul, que son los más grandes y poderosos, y que dan un beneficio especial al ser asesinados: el rojo aumenta el daño y la regeneración de vida, y el azul reduce el tiempo de enfriamiento de las habilidades y aumenta la regeneración de maná.
• Los Lobos, los Rocas y los Aves, que son más pequeños y débiles, pero que dan una buena cantidad de oro y experiencia.
• Los Cangrejos, que son unos crustáceos que aparecen en el río y que dan visión y velocidad de movimiento al ser derrotados.
• Los Monstruos Épicos, que son los más difíciles de matar, pero que dan una gran ventaja a todo el equipo: el Dragón, que puede ser de cuatro tipos diferentes (Infernal, océano, de hielo o de Montaña) y que da un beneficio permanente según su elemento; el Heraldo, que aparece en la primera mitad del juego y que ayuda a empujar un carril al ser invocado; y el Barón Nashor, que aparece en la segunda mitad del juego y que da un gran aumento de poder y regeneración al equipo que lo elimine.

La jungla es el territorio del jugador que ocupa esta posición, que es el encargado de eliminar estos monstruos para obtener recursos y beneficios para él y su equipo. Además, el jungla tiene la responsabilidad de ayudar a los otros carriles mediante emboscadas o ganks, que consisten en sorprender al enemigo por detrás o por los lados para intentar matarlo o hacerlo retroceder.

¿Cómo se juega la jungla?

Para jugar la jungla se necesita tener una serie de habilidades y conocimientos específicos, ya que es un rol muy diferente al de los otros jugadores. Estas son algunas de las cosas que debes tener en cuenta si quieres jugar la jungla:

• El hechizo de invocador Castigo. Este hechizo es imprescindible para los junglas, ya que hace mucho daño a los monstruos neutrales y te cura una parte de tu vida al usarlo. Además, después de matar a cuatro monstruos con Castigo, obtienes una mejora que te permite usarlo también en campeones enemigos, lo que te da una ventaja en los combates. Recuerda usar Castigo siempre que puedas para acelerar tu limpieza de la jungla y asegurarte los monstruos épicos.

• La ruta de la jungla. La ruta de la jungla es el orden en el que vas a eliminar los campamentos. No hay una ruta fija ni mejor que otra, sino que depende de varios factores, como el campeón que uses, el estado de los carriles, la posición del dragón o del heraldo, etc. Lo ideal es adaptarse a cada situación y ser flexible, pero hay algunas pautas generales que puedes seguir:
  *Empieza siempre por el Brambleback Rojo o el Centinela Azul, ya que son los más difíciles de matar y te dan un beneficio muy útil. Pide ayuda a tus compañeros para hacerlos más rápido y con menos daño.
  *Después, sigue por los Lobos, las Rocas o las Aves, según el lado del mapa en el que estés. Intenta hacerlos todos antes de ir al río, para maximizar tu oro y experiencia.
  *Cuando llegues al río, puedes intentar hacer el Cangrejo, que te dará visión y velocidad de movimiento, o buscar un gank en el carril más cercano, si ves que el enemigo está avanzado o tiene poca vida. También puedes invadir la jungla enemiga, si sabes dónde está el otro jungla y crees que puedes ganarle o escapar de él.
  *Repite este proceso hasta que aparezca el Dragón o el Heraldo, y entonces intenta hacerlos con la ayuda de tu equipo, o al menos impedir que el enemigo los haga. Estos monstruos son muy importantes, así que no los descuides.

• El ganking. El ganking es la acción de emboscar a los enemigos en los carriles para intentar matarlos o hacerlos retroceder. Es una de las funciones principales del jungla, y requiere de mucha atención y coordinación. Estos son algunos consejos para hacer un buen gank:

  *Observa el mapa constantemente y busca oportunidades de gank. Fíjate en la posición de los enemigos, su nivel de vida, sus hechizos disponibles, etc. También presta atención a tu equipo, y comunícate con ellos para avisarles de tus intenciones o pedirles que te ayuden.
  *Elige el momento y el lugar adecuados para gank. No gankes si ves que el enemigo tiene mucha ventaja o si hay muchos minions enemigos cerca, ya que podrías morir o perder mucho tiempo. Tampoco gankes si tu aliado está muy lejos o tiene poca vida, ya que no podrá apoyarte. Intenta gank por detrás o por los lados del enemigo, y aprovecha los arbustos o las paredes para ocultarte.
  *Ejecuta el gank con decisión y rapidez. Usa tus habilidades para acercarte al enemigo, aplicarle efectos negativos (ralentizarlo, aturdirlo, etc.) y hacerle daño. Coordínate con tu aliado para atacar al mismo objetivo y rematarlo. Si el gank sale bien, puedes aprovechar para empujar el carril, hacer daño a la torre o robar la jungla enemiga. Si el gank sale mal, retírate lo antes posible y vuelve a tu jungla.
  Aquí verán una partida rápida en la posición de jungla y de como moverse entre líneas, recolectar oro y hacer buenos ganks te permite tener mucha ventaja al inicio del juego, si tu equipo sabe aprovechar esas oportunidades ya se tiene una partida ganada de forma cómoda. • The Crabs, which are crustaceans that appear in the river and give vision and movement speed when defeated.
• The Epic Monsters, which are the most difficult to kill, but which give a great advantage to the whole team: the Dragon, which can be of four different types (Infernal, ocean, Ice or of Mountain) and that gives a permanent benefit according to its element; the Herald, who appears in the first half of the game and helps push a lane when summoned; and the Baron Nashor, who appears in the second half of the game and gives a huge boost of power and regeneration to the team that kills him.

How do you play the jungle?

• The summoner spell Smite. This spell is a must for junglers, as it does a lot of damage to neutral monsters and heals you for a portion of your life when cast. Remember to use Smite whenever you can to speed up your jungle clearing and secure epic monsters.

• The jungle route. The jungle path is the order in which you are going to clear the camps. There is no fixed route or better than another, it depends on several factors, such as the champion you use, the state of the lanes, the position of the dragon or herald, etc. The ideal is to adapt to each situation and be flexible, but there are some general guidelines that you can follow:
  *Always start with the Red Brambleback or Blue Sentinel as they are the hardest to kill and give you a very useful buff. Ask your teammates for help to make them faster and with less damage.
  *Next, move on to Wolves, Rocks, or Birds, depending on which side of the map you're on. Try to do them all before going to the river, to maximize your gold and experience.
  *When you get to the river, you can try to Crab, which will give you vision and movement speed, or look for a gank in the nearest lane, if you see that the enemy is advanced or low on health. You can also invade the enemy jungle, if you know where the other jungler is and you think you can beat him or escape from him.
  *Repeat this process until either the Dragon or Herald spawns, and then try to do them with the help of your team, or at least stop the enemy from doing them. These monsters are very important, so don't neglect them.

• The ganking. Ganking is the action of ambushing enemies in lanes to try to kill them or push them back. It is one of the main functions of the jungler, and requires a lot of attention and coordination. Here are some tips for making a good gank:

  *Watch the map constantly and look for gank opportunities. Take note of the position of the enemies, their level of life, their available spells, etc. Also pay attention to your team, and communicate with them to warn them of your intentions or ask them to help you.
  *Choose the right time and place to gank. Do not win if you see that the enemy has a lot of advantage or if there are many enemy minions nearby, since you could die or lose a lot of time. Also don't win if your ally is too far away or has low health, since he will not be able to support you. Try to gank behind or to the sides of the enemy, and take advantage of bushes or walls to hide.

  • Execute the gank decisively and quickly. Use your skills to get closer to the enemy, apply debuffs (slow, stun, etc.) and deal damage. If the gank goes wrong, retreat and return to your jungle.
