Como venezolano es normal que desde muy pequeño tengas algún contacto con el Cuatro, uno de nuestros instrumentos típicos, es común que tengas uno en casa o te regalen un Cuatro, seguramente querrás aprender a tocarlo y aunque no lo logres podrás conocer un poco más sobre la música venezolana, alimentando tu idiosincrasia.

En mi caso recuerdo haber querido tomar clases de cuatro, pero la verdad que nunca ha sido lo mío tocar instrumentos, es algo que me llama mucho la atención, pero no siento que tengo la suficiente concentración para cantar y tocar a la vez, el canto siempre gana y pierdo muchas veces ese toque de concentración tan necesario para hacer ambas cosas.

Antes de crear contenido para la blockchain no necesitaba acompañarme con instrumentos, aunque tengo en casa un cuatro, una guitarra y un teclado, siempre conseguí quien me acompañara y yo solo cantaba, de forma esporádica me acompañaba con el cuatro y la guitarra, el teclado aún es una materia musical pendiente.

Pero todo cambió, cuando me convertí en creadora de contenido, jamás pude coordinar con algún músico de forma constante para que me acompañara en el instrumento mientras yo cantaba, parece que debía hacerme cargo por mí misma y así lo hice. No podría decirles a ciencia cierta cuantos covers y canciones originales he compartido desde que estoy creando contenido, pero sé que son muchas, en retrospectiva he recorrido un camino de aprendizaje y aunque el canto siempre será mi arte musical favorito, ahora acompañarme con un instrumento musical se ha vuelto un hábito.

Esta canción que hoy les comparto pertenece al acervo musical venezolano, una canción conocida con la cual muchas personas aprenden a tocar el Cuatro, hoy les traigo mi versión de este movido merengue venezolano. Como dato curioso les cuento que no había prestado mucha atención a la letra, pero si la analizo hoy día, veo que trata un tema profundo. Una mujer que abandona a su pareja por maltratos, dejando atrás a su hijo.

El compadre Pancho viene a ser un confidente de esta fuerte historia mientras escucha quejarse al protagonista, quien hasta ahora viene a entender que nadie sabe lo que tiene hasta que lo pierde.
