[ESP/ENG] A BUMPY RIDE 🏍️ // UN VIAJE ACCIDENTADO🏍️🏍️

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia agridulce que nos a pasado a mi novio y a mí en el viaje más reciente que hemos hecho, como saben a nosotros nos encantan las motos y pues tenemos una, y a pesar de que siempre está al día con su mantenimiento, el cambió de aceite y todo lo necesario siempre está al día, para que al momento de que algún viaje este lista para salir, pero a pesar de tener todo al día siempre pasan inconvenientes inesperados e inevitable, así como nos pasó a nosotros.

Today I want to share with you a bittersweet experience that happened to my boyfriend and me in the most recent trip we have done, as you know we love motorcycles and we have one, and although it is always up to date with its maintenance, oil change and everything necessary is always up to date, so that at the time of any trip is ready to go, but despite having everything up to date always happen unexpected and unavoidable inconveniences, as well as it happened to us.

Nuestra ruta era desde Maturin hasta carupano, pero decidimos tomar el camino por la vía de caripe que es aproximadamente 4 horas de camino. Así que salimos pasado el medio día para llegar a carupano antes del anochecer. Pero por bajando una de las montañas saliendo de caripe, dónde no hay población la moto se quedó sin electricidad, así que como íbamos en bajada decidimos dejar correr la moto hasta llegar a un lugar habitado dónde revisar a ver qué ha pasado, cabe acotar que estaba lloviendo muy pero muy fuerte. 😊

Our route was from Maturin to Carupano, but we decided to take the road via Caripe, which is about 4 hours drive. So we left after noon to get to Carupano before nightfall. But going down one of the mountains leaving caripe, where there is no population the bike ran out of electricity, so as we were going downhill we decided to let the bike run until we reached an inhabited place where to check to see what happened, it should be noted that it was raining very but very hard. 😊

Por más que intentamos tratar de prender la moto, con otras batería prestada nada funcionó. Así que decidimos quedarnos en el pueblo en dónde llegamos, Santa María. Allí pasamos la noche, la comunidad estaba sin luz y nos dicen los del pueblo que cuando se va la luz también se va la señal telefónica en el pueblo, así que estábamos incomunicado.

As much as we tried to start the bike, with other borrowed batteries nothing worked. So we decided to stay in the village where we arrived, Santa Maria. There we spent the night, the community was without electricity and the villagers told us that when the electricity goes out, the phone signal in the village goes out too, so we were incommunicado.

En el pueblo todos nos decian que hay un mecánico que sabes todo, pero que no se encontraba en el pueblo, le dicen Lukitas, así que la esperanza la teníamos puesta en ese mecánico para que logrará prender la moto y poder seguir nuestro camino.

In the village everyone told us that there is a mechanic who knows everything, but he was not in town, they call him Lukitas, so we had to hope that this mechanic would be able to turn on the bike and we could continue on our way.

Afortunadamente Lukitas logro prender la moto,resulta que tenía un cable despegado en la parte de la pata de mato, seguramente se soltó al caer en algún hueco. Afortunadamente este inconveniente no paso a mayores, pudimos terminar de llegar a casa de mi familia.

Fortunately Lukitas managed to turn on the bike, it turns out that it had a detached cable in the part of the kickstand, it probably came loose when falling into a hole. Fortunately this inconvenience did not happen to major, we were able to finish arriving at my family's house.
