Hello guys 🖤 🖤
Nice to see y'all again for this week's performance. The song I have chosen to present is that recommended by the community. I'm not really use to this song but I had to make sure I score it so I won't miss out in this week's presentation. I applaud my mom because most of the songs I know today, I learnt from her. Whenever she sings, I listen, sing along with her if I know little of the lyrics and then it will become part of me. However she sings it is how I'll sing it too😅. This song by Nathaniel Bassey is one of the songs my mom loved so much. She cherished it as if there is no tomorrow 😂, "Onishe Iyanu".
My mom sang this song until I was fed up. I didn't wanna hear it anymore it was beginning to sound like a cliche. There is one part she usually sang and I will roll on the floor with laughter. If you listen to the song, you'd hear a place where the singer will be like, "Somebody give him a shout of praaaaise, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey...." My mom usually sings this part in a veeeery funny way, though I didn't touch that part in my video cover.
Also, me singing this song, I still have cough which has really affected my voice. I strain my voice and it hurts my throat while singing which will wanna trigger the cough but I try hard to control it. This video might not be up to standard because of some voice error I encountered as a result of the cough. I TAKE GOD NAME BEG UNA, NO LAUGH ME, but you can smile. I'm most especially addressing this to @mhizerbee, person wey fit laugh for Africa😂😂😂.
This Nathaniel's song is a hit because it is a praise song. It is one that gives glory to God for everything he has done for humanity. If you have an opportunity to listen to it, I bet you'd love it🥰 Have fun listening.
THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME🌹🌹
