Hi dear friends of Hive Open Mic.

We are in week 139 ✨ and it is a pleasure for me to be sharing this musical space week after week with each of you.

At this time of the year I feel especially connected with Christmas carols, aguinaldos and the Venezuelan gaita because the joy of Christmas can be felt when listening to it. For this week I selected the song "El Portal de Belen" a carol that highlights Christmas values such as love and faith for the birth of the Child God.

In the case of the theme of the week "Work of true love" I felt that this song represents that work by referring to the nativity of Jesus, with which Christian believers prepare their hearts and thoughts with love and hope to remember the birth of our God.

I hope you enjoy this interpretation.

Hola queridos amigos de Hive Open Mic.

Estamos en la semana 139 ✨ y es un gusto para mí estar compartiendo este espacio musical semana trás semana con cada uno de ustedes.

En esta época del año me siento especialmente conectada con los villancicos, aguinaldos y la gaita Venezolana porque la alegría de la navidad se puede sentir al escucharla. Para esta semana seleccioné la canción "El portal de Belén" un villancico en el que se destacan valores de la navidad como el amor y la fe por el nacimiento de Niño Dios.

En el caso de la temática de la semana "Obra de amor verdadero" sentí que está canción representa esa obra al hacer referencia a la natividad de Jesús, con la cual los creyentes cristianos preparan sus corazones sus pensamientos con amor, esperanza para rememorar el nacimiento de nuestro Dios.

Deseo que disfruten de esta interpretación.
