Bienvenidos amigos a mi canal y a un nuevo video de vocabulario en inglés, en esta oportunidad les vengo a enseñar los insectos para finalizar con esta temática. Cabe resaltar que hay millones de insectos que de seguro se me han pasado mencionar pero me encantaría que pidieran alguno que les gustaría saber y no haya mencionado.

En esta oportunidad, como la temática son los insectos, quiero aprovechar a contarles mi relación con las arañas, ¿Por qué las arañas? Porque les tengo fobia y aquí les voy a contar como surgió este pánico hacia las mismas.

This time, as the theme is insects, I want to tell you about my relationship with spiders, why spiders? Because I have a phobia of them and here I am going to tell you how this panic towards them arose.

Cuando yo era chiquita iba de visita los fines de semana a la casa de mi abuela paterna, la cual tenía un gusto particular para hacer regalos a niños chiquitos. Ella había comprado una especie de tarántula de plástico enorme y bastante horrible a la cual obviamente yo le tenía miedo pero no al grado de tenerle pánico.

When I was a little girl I used to visit my paternal grandmother's house at weekends, who had a particular taste in gifts for little children. She had bought some kind of huge and rather horrible plastic tarantula which I was obviously afraid of, but not to the point of panic.

Todos ya sabían que no me gustaba para nada, ni siquiera verla, pero había una persona que hoy no voy a mencionar pero ella sabe quién es jajaja que para molestarme me correteaba por toda la casa con ese juguete sabiendo que me espantaba.

Everyone already knew that I didn't like her at all, not even seeing her, but there was one person that I won't mention today but she knows who she is hahaha who used to run me around the house with that toy to annoy me, knowing that it scared me.

Siempre que íbamos allí, me torturaba con eso y yo gritaba de espanto, también en una ocasión yo estaba tranquila viendo la televisión y me coloco la tarántula en la cabeza, se imaginaran el trauma que me pegue.

Whenever we went there, he always tortured me with it and I screamed in horror, also on one occasion I was quietly watching television and he put the tarantula on my head, you can imagine the trauma I suffered.

Desde entonces las arañas se fueron convirtiendo en mi fobia hasta el punto que ni mencionarlas puedo que ya me da ñañaras en el occipucio y las falangetas.

Since then, spiders have become my phobia to the point that I can't even mention them, as I get scratches on my occiput and phalanges.

Bien dicen que de niño uno desarrolla sus pasiones y también sus miedos, en ese entonces yo no me daba cuenta pero con el correr de los años ese terror se fue desarrollando, no al punto de infartarme al ver una pero si de gritar y sentir ese miedo en mi cuerpo.

It is well said that as a child you develop your passions and also your fears, at that time I didn't realise it but over the years this terror developed, not to the point of infarction when I saw one but to the point of screaming and feeling that fear in my body.

Esa es mi historia chistosa pero traumática en ese entonces sobre las arañas y mi fobia. Una pequeña parte de mí que quería compartirles.
