Welcome back to another walk through the old world of video games. A journey that I have become used to share with you and where we remember in a significant way these great classics that were and still are part of our lives. Nintendo as a video game console was undoubtedly a great name that will live forever in our memories and hearts. It is incredible that even after so many years, it is still one of the biggest video game industries. Their development capacity is incredible, although I would like them to bring out another great videogame, and maybe, perhaps, a new character that goes much more with this new generation of young people. Without a doubt, they have known how to take advantage of those characters that they themselves brought to life. But I think the time has come to create a new generation.
Today we head to the jungle with a passionate video game where the protagonist is none other than Donkey Kong himself. In my last Gameplay we remembered that classic video game where Kong had and Mario Bros met for the first time. A classic video game where Kong throws barrels to prevent our friend the plumber could not get to rescue the princess in danger. Here, our great Kong is the protagonist and will wage a battle to save his land, his home. It could be said that it is a simple videogame but with a great quality in the details of the island and its characters. The objective of the video game is to reach the end, defeat the last boss and enjoy a great reward. Yes, that is, like any Mario. But didn't this friendly plumber open the doors for this kind of adventures?
The game has good graphics for the time and the music of the game is quite elegant. Another of its attractions is that each level has a different mechanic which makes it impossible to get bored. This friend that was also designed by Miyamoto contains a great saga that has managed to excel at all times with different consoles and times and even in our days with a magnificent delivery for Wii U and although I have not been able to play it, if I have seen several gameplay by Youtube which gives me the certainty that this new title of the saga, is another great game.
This was another great videogame that I enjoyed a lot as a child. This was another gift from my mother in Christmas '96 if I remember correctly. I got to know the video game through a friend who studied with me and who often visited me to study or catch up with my studies. And well, there were days where we would agree to have fun playing Snes and thus keep up with video games hahaha ... I remember we played a lot Street Fighter and I really do not remember that I was good at it, always ended up finished by my friend hahaha ... but the goal was to have fun and yes, we succeeded.
Playing Donkey Kong Country today brought back some very nice and good memories. It's good that I was able to remember this other great Nintendo title with which I certainly had fun and spent incredible video game afternoons.
This way of remembering and taking a walk to the past of video games gives me the option to enjoy again these classics and that gives an extra point of nostalgia when I manage to find titles like this one that I present today. I hope you enjoyed this short but nostalgic walk.
