Hola amigos || Hello friends

Hace poco compartí con unos amigos, @leomolina y otro gran amigo de nuestra adolescencia. Fue una tarde noche donde conversábamos de aquellos momentos del rock en la ciudad y en nuestro país, de la música en general y de cómo forma parte de nuestras vidas y de todas esas experiencias vividas. Formamos parte de la movida rockera de la ciudad, éramos miembros de bandas que sonaron mucho y que participaron en eventos importantes del rock en Venezuela. Uno de esos eventos se llama aún Nuevas bandas.

^{Recently I shared with some friends, @leomolina and another great friend of our adolescence. It was an evening where we talked about those moments of rock in the city and in our country, about music in general and how it is part of our lives and all those experiences lived. We were part of the rock movement of the city, we were members of bands that sounded a lot and participated in important rock events in Venezuela. One of those events is still called Nuevas Bandas.}

Es una fundación con más de 30 años de existencia promoviendo a las nuevas generaciones. De ahí han salido bandas como Caramelos de Cianuro o los Amigos invisibles quienes han dejado el nombre de nuestro país y del festival muy en alto. Formar parte de esa experiencia aún es algo emocionante. Recuerdo que nuestro amigo @wilddrumss hace poco estuvo participando con su banda en uno de esos festivales. Por cierto, les escribí a la fundación para regresar dicho evento a nuestra ciudad, Cumaná - Venezuela. De aquí salieron muy buenas representaciones musicales como Ohmio y La Base. Hoy en día existen excelentes proyectos musicales en la ciudad que estoy seguro darían la talla para pertenecer al Festival Nuevas Bandas.

^{It is a foundation with more than 30 years of existence promoting the new generations. Bands like Caramelos de Cianuro or Los Amigos Invisibles, who have left the name of our country and the festival very high. Being part of that experience is still something exciting. I remember that our friend @wilddrumss was recently participating with his band in one of those festivals. By the way, I wrote to the foundation to return that event to our city, Cumaná - Venezuela. From here came out very good musical representations like Ohmio and La Base. Today there are excellent musical projects in the city that I am sure would be worthy of belonging to the New Bands Festival.}

La canción que hoy les interpretaré es de la banda Submarino quien formó parte del festival llegando junto a Cady 66 a la final de dicho evento. Dos bandas que sonaban mucho en el 2000 y que tenían un público muy grande. El ganador de esa noche fue Candy 66 pero la presentación de Submarino dio mucho de qué hablar y fue la primera vez que el festival se encontraron con un empate. La decisión final se la llevó Candy 66 pero esta banda siempre será recordada por aquellos que vivieron estos grandes momentos. Submarino justo después del festival se separaron. Quizás por lo ocurrido, lo cual es comprensible pero también creo que se rindieron muy pronto.

^{The song that I will interpret today is from the band Submarino, who was part of the festival, reaching the finals of the event along with Cady 66. Two bands that sounded a lot in 2000 and had a very large audience. The winner of that night was Candy 66 but the presentation of Submarino gave a lot to talk about and it was the first time that the festival had a tie. The final decision went to Candy 66 but this band will always be remembered by those who lived these great moments. Submarine just after the festival broke up. Maybe because of what happened, which is understandable but I also think they gave up too soon.}

La música es lo que le da sentido a mi vida, mi pasión por ella, es vital como el agua para vivir. Sonidos que cambian mi estado de ánimo en segundos... La música me envuelve, me hace volver a vivir momentos que se fueron y que no volverán, me hace soñar, en otras palabras, cualquier tipo de música me hace sentir muy bien y la disfruto. Estoy agradecido con todos los amigos que apoyan mi arte, mi música. A cada uno de ellos ¡GRACIAS!
