Carlos always says to me that stretching is very important and he's absolutely right. Many injuries could be avoided by warming up well before exercising and stretching well afterwards, in addition to the fact that stretching provides more benefits such as, for example, greater development of muscle mass, avoiding the dreaded muscle aches and greater muscle recovery.
I had an iliotibial band syndrome injury years ago that left me unable to train for a whole year and you can't imagine how I recovered..., right: doing stretching along with strengthening exercises of the affected part.
Hip rotation and iliotibial band stretch.
Feet crunch, ankles rotation and loosening muscles.
