Illustration to 3D with Mental Canvas / イラストを3Dに

I hope you are all doing well and being creative.
I'm a bit art blocked. I'm not motivated to do anything 😭
Although, I found a very cool app the other day. I thought I should make a post about it.
The app is called Mental Canvas. It is a drawing app, a special drawing app. What's so special about this app is that you can make your drawing into 3D. Well, another app called CapCut does that as well but with CapCut, you make your 2D drawing into 3D by using the app. Mental Canvas, on the other hand, gives you the tools to... more like... build a 3D film from your 2D drawing.
It is free for a limited time.
Let me show you what I learned to do with Mental Canvas so far.

私はやる気をどこかに落としてきてしまいました、笑
今日はバスに乗り遅れ、普段なら次のバスでも間に合うのに間に合わず、こんな時になぜ工事始めるの！？！？！フェリーの最終チケット販売はバス到着の３秒前に打ち切られ、次のフェリーは2時間後、仕事に大遅刻しました。絵を描こうとしても描けないので、今日は少し前に見つけた面白いアプリの投稿します。
Mental Canvasというアプリです。
2Dで描いた物を3Dにするアプリは他にもありますが、CapCutとかね。。。このアプリは3Dにするというより、2Dを組み合わせて3Dを作る感じです。
今のところ無料のようです。
まだまだ覚えたてですが、作ったものを紹介しますね。

Mental Canvas provides you with layers as the other drawing apps do. The difference is that you have some 3D space between these layers.
I drew a scaredy-cat first. Well, the app provides you with some drawing tools but is limited. I hope they provide you with more tools when you pay for the app.
Then, I drew a ghost and a pumpkin.
I have to admit that I made too much space between my scaredy-cat and ghost-pumpkin couple.

他のお絵描きアプリと同じくレイヤーを使って絵を描いていきますが、Mental Canvasの場合、このレイヤーの間に3Dのスペースがある感じです。
まずは驚いているニャンコを描いてみました。でもですね、ブラシや他のツールが少ないんです。ちょっと描きづらいです。
有料になったら増えるのかな。。。
オバケとカボチャも描きました。
ちょっと失敗したのはニャンコとオバケ＆カボチャカップルの距離。ちょっと離し過ぎちゃいました。

Adding the floor was a little tricky. Also,I think I drew my scaredy cat a bit too high. I can’t seem to bring the image to the centre of the screen🤣
Lastly, move your drawing around and take a shot as you are looking through your drawing with a video camera.
When you play the shots you've taken, it looks and feels like you are going through the drawing. It is very interesting. I hope I can create something cooler. I should try again while it’s free.

フロアを作るのに少々苦労しました。ニャンコを上に描き過ぎたようで、どうしてもスクリーンの真ん中に動かせません🤣
最後に絵を動かして、写真を撮ります。
撮った写真を再生するとビデオカメラを持って描いた絵の中を移動しているみたいで楽しいです。
もっと凝ったものを作れるといいのですが。。。無料のうちにまたトライしてみます。
