Hive Open Mic - Semana 133 - “Opportunity" - GAITA ONOMATOPEYICA - Cover mandolin.

Un cordial saludo musical.

Esta semana tenemos la temática "oportunidad" y es propicio para comenzar a mostrarles un género musical muy sabroso de mi país, se trata de la gaita zuliana, un género que se puede adaptar para cualquier ocasión, tanto para la alegría como para la menlancolía , pero especialmente para la protesta, porque la gaita ha servido para que el pueblo exprese sus pensamientos a traves de la música. Siempre ha existido una oportunidad para reclamar los derechos como ciudadanos pero también hay oportunidad para expresar sentimientos de bondad, de ternura y amor, y en esta ocasión te presento esta gaita muy curiosa porque el titulo es Gaita Onomatopéyica, de Abdénago "Neguito" Borjas.

La Onomatopeya degun La Real Academia de la Lengua Española:

Palabra que tiene sonidos que se asemejan a lo que       
significa.
"las palabras ‘guau’ o ‘tic tac’ son onomatopeyas"

Ejemplo: El canto del gallo "ki ki ri kiii" es una onomatopeya

La letra de esta gaita no es común, son sonidos específicos que el autor escogió, no es ningun idioma, son onopatopeyas. De ahí el título de la gaita. Pero como yo no la canto te dejo el video original para que la aprecies.

This week we have the theme "opportunity" and it is appropriate to begin to show you a very tasty musical genre of my country, it is the gaita zuliana, a genre that can be adapted for any occasion, both for joy and for menlancolía, but especially for protest, because the gaita has served for the people to express their thoughts through music. The lyrics of this bagpipe are not common, they are specific sounds that the author chose, it is not a language, they are onopatopeias. Hence the title of the gaita. But as I don't sing it, I leave the original video for you to appreciate it.
