This is Week 146 of the Hive Open Mic Challenge, and the theme for the week is “La Union” which translates to The Union. All right, what that sounds like to me… is two lovers finally coming together after being apart for some time…

One of my absolute favourite artists to listen to (with my mom), and cover, is Tracy Chapman. She has a beautiful song called “The Promise” which is a fantastic fit to how I interpret the theme… she is basically saying “Wait for me… I’ll return… and we will have our reUNION!” Here is the original song:
