Hola a toda la comunidad de Hive, bienvenidos a esta sección llamada el Caminante en Hive, donde los invito a que caminen conmigo para que conozcan los lugares históricos y emblemáticos de nuestra ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela.

Como también, monumentos, calles, plazas y avenidas ¡Así que iniciemos el recorrido a este sitio histórico que les quiero mostrar! Vámonos.

Aquí vengo caminando paso a paso hasta llegar a este monumento histórico emblemático y representativo no solo de nuestra Caracas sino también de Venezuela, como lo es el Panteón Nacional. No pude evitar el tomar algunas fotos y filmar ese gran monumento erigido durante el siglo 19.

Como muchos ya saben u otros sabrán, El Panteón Nacional, reposan los restos mortales de nuestro Libertador y padre de la Patria Simón Bolívar y de otros personajes importantes de nuestra historia. Antiguamente, esa edificación era conocida como la Iglesia de la Santísima Trinidad de Caracas.
Para el 27 de marzo de 1874 fue decretada como el Panteón Nacional durante el gobierno de Antonio Guzmán Blanco, y para el 28 de octubre de 1875, fue inaugurada como tal.

MAUSOLEO DE EL LIBERTADOR

Es un edificio construido con forma de rampa en ascenso (así como las rampas de patinetas); con una tendencia moderna que está vinculado al antiguo Panteón Nacional, separado por un pasillo, cuya estructura mide unos 54 metros de alto y está recubierta de cerámica blanca. Dicho edificio posee 8 metros más de altura que la torre más elevada del Panteón Nacional. Tiene una extensión de 2000 metros cuadrados, con un aforo para recibir un aproximado de hasta 1500 personas.

Ese edificio tiene como intención alojar los restos mortales de El Libertador Simón Bolívar, después de la exhumación.

Como sabrán en estar parte de la historia, El Mausoleo estaba listo para ser inaugurada el 17 de diciembre de 2012, pero debido a la enfermedad que padecía el entonces presidente Hugo Chávez, la fecha de inauguración se pospuso para el siguiente año. Posteriormente, después de la muerte del presidente Hugo Chávez “5 de marzo de 2013”, la obra fue inaugurada el 14 de mayo de 2013, presidido por el presidente encargado y actual presidente Nicolás Maduro, con la presencia del alto gobierno.

Para todos mis amigos que me están viendo y leyendo este post, si algún día quieren visitar o pasar por ese recinto histórico donde albergan los restos mortales de Los Próceres de la Independencia, así como de personajes inminentes; este sitio se encuentra ubicado en la Parroquia Altagracia, a pocos metros de la Plaza Bolívar y de la Catedral de Caracas, Municipio Libertador, Distrito Capital, Venezuela.

NATIONAL PANTHEON

Hello to all the Hive community, welcome to this section called the Walker in Hive, where I invite you to walk with me to know the historical and emblematic places of our city of Caracas, Venezuela.

As well as monuments, streets, squares and avenues. So let's start the tour to this historical place that I want to show you! Let's go.

Here I come walking step by step until I reach this emblematic and representative historical monument not only of our Caracas but also of Venezuela, as is the National Pantheon. I could not avoid taking some pictures and filming this great monument erected during the 19th century.

As many of you already know or others may know, the National Pantheon is the resting place of the mortal remains of our Liberator and Father of the Nation Simón Bolívar and other important characters of our history. Formerly, this building was known as the Church of the Holy Trinity of Caracas.
On March 27, 1874, it was decreed as the National Pantheon during the government of Antonio Guzmán Blanco, and on October 28, 1875, it was inaugurated as such.

MAUSOLEUM OF THE LIBERATOR

It is a building built in the shape of an ascending ramp (like the ramps of skateboards); with a modern tendency that is linked to the old National Pantheon, separated by a corridor, whose structure measures 54 meters high and is covered with white ceramic. This building is 8 meters higher than the highest tower of the National Pantheon. It has an extension of 2,000 square meters, with a capacity to receive approximately 1,500 people.

This building is intended to house the mortal remains of El Libertador Simón Bolívar, after the exhumation.

As you may know in this part of the story, the Mausoleum was ready to be inaugurated on December 17, 2012, but due to the illness suffered by then President Hugo Chavez, the inauguration date was postponed to the following year. Subsequently, after the death of President Hugo Chavez "March 5, 2013", the work was inaugurated on May 14, 2013, presided by the president in charge and current president Nicolas Maduro, with the presence of the high government.

For all my friends who are watching me and reading this post, if someday they want to visit or pass by this historical precinct where the mortal remains of the Proceres of Independence, as well as imminent characters are kept; this site is located in the Altagracia Parish, a few meters from the Plaza Bolivar and the Cathedral of Caracas, Libertador Municipality, Capital District, Venezuela.
