Muchas veces nosotros como seres humanos nos aprisionamos y lo único que nos encarcela sinceramente es nuestra mente, los pensamientos que dejamos que en esta se desarrollen afectan significativamente el desarrollo de las actividades que ejercemos en nuestra vida y creo que el cantautor Marco Antonio Solis lo sabe muy bien y por ello hizo esta canción, tratando de hacer ver a quien dedica en esta canción y explicitamente le atribuye el motivo de su abandono a su estatus económico.
