La versión de esta canción que están a punto de presenciar, surgió de una forma muy curiosa, debido a que la tuve que hacer de inmediato y en vivo y me lo tome como un reto personal y les voy a contar parte de la historia.

Recuerdo estar en un restaurante llamado muska aquí en Medellín hace no muchas semanas atrás tocando con unos amigos y en eso un mexicano se nos acerco para entablar conversación. El sujeto en cuestión vivía en Estados Unidos y estaba aquí en Colombia pasando las vacaciones de Diciembre con su esposa y luego de ver nuestra primera tanda de música y charlar nos tuvimos que despedir de el obviamente porque ya teníamos que empezar el segundo set de canciones de la noche. En eso que estamos tocando el chico se me acerca y me pregunta si nos sabíamos esta misma canción y si la podíamos cantar y por supuesto le dije que si aunque jamás en mi vida la había cantado, ni tocado pero gracias a la tecnología logre superar esta barrera y busque rápidamente las letras en Google para poder interpretarla ya que la melodía debido a su sencillez y las repetidas veces que la había escuchado, se me hacia bastante sencillo poder ejecutarla. Acorde con mis compañeros y les dije la tonalidad y les pedí expresamente el ritmo de bachata para cantarla. Sorpresivamente la canción salió muy bien y al chico le gusto tanto que nos dio una propina que alegremente recibimos y que de verdad que se me hacia satisfactoria por el hecho de poder haber logrado algo como montar una canción en pleno toque algo fantástico.

I remember being in a restaurant called muska here in Medellin not too many weeks ago playing with some friends and a Mexican guy approached us to start a conversation. The guy in question lived in the United States and was here in Colombia spending the December vacations with his wife and after watching our first set of music and chatting we had to say goodbye to him obviously because we had to start the second set of songs of the night. While we were playing the guy came up to me and asked me if we knew this same song and if we could sing it and of course I said yes, although I had never sung or played it in my life, but thanks to technology I managed to overcome this barrier and quickly looked up the lyrics on Google to be able to interpret it since the melody due to its simplicity and the repeated times I had heard it, it was quite easy for me to perform it. I agreed with my classmates and told them the key and asked them specifically for the bachata rhythm to sing it. Surprisingly the song came out very well and the boy liked it so much that he gave us a tip that we happily received and that really made me feel satisfied for the fact of having been able to achieve something like singing a song in the middle of something fantastic.
