Hive Open Mic Week 103, Freedom. Bass cover of Joy by Whitney Houston

Hello everyone... The Hive Open Mic community keeps igniting the music man in me. There was a point I just almost gave up on music because of some stuffs, ranging from the fact that I didn't have a bass of my own to be rehearsing to not having a practice combo. Like, everything was just there and I was just always upset and fucked up.

One day, someone gifted me some cash and I first rushed to where combo was sold and I deposited the money there. Poco a poco, I was able to pay it all. Then few months after, my boss gave me this bass guitar to use for my practice. This is how I was set free from the shackles of giving up on music. My freedom was given to me on the platter of silver and ain't taking it for granted.

I'm saying all this because this week's theme just revamped the music man in me so I decided to take this song Joy by Whitney Houston to express how much joy I feel, plus, this is my birth month. It's just a great combo and it keeps grinding my gears.
