A PlayStation Store shopping spree 💸

I felt the need to splurge on some new games this week. The PS Store has a nice sale going on which allowed me to pick up a couple of games for right now. I also went ahead and preordered three other upcoming titles which I knew I was going to buy at launch anyway.

I purchased Grid Legends and Raji: An Ancient Epic Enhanced Edition. I also preordered Saints Row, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, and God of War Ragnarök.

Some people are not okay with the whole preordering option. They say there is no point in giving gaming companies your money before you even see how a game reviews. In some cases, this is a valid argument, such as the launch of Cyberpunk 2077. There are other games that come out playing great and are worth the full price right away. Plus there are often bonuses to preordering such as early access to the game or extra in-game content. It is nice to already have your game installed as soon as it is available to play too. It is a bit of a gamble these days because you never know which game will come out in shambles, but I think preordering is quite often a risk worth taking.

I commented on a new Saints Row gameplay video on YouTube recently. I was just talking about how I preordered the game and some person went absolutely nuts about me doing that (screenshots are in my video). They thought I was helping to totally ruin the entire gaming industry just by preordering. I of course thought the person was most likely mentally unstable to be that triggered by my actions. It was pretty hilarious and it gave me the idea to make this video.

In today's video, you can expect to see some gameplay of every game that I purchased, totaling $250 worth of games. I will also talk about why I was interested in all of these titles and perhaps give you a reason to check them out yourself. I will explain why I purchased some before they were even released and others many months after their launch.
