Its a very old piece written in Sanskrit by Saint Thyagaraja .
Growing up carnatic and indian classical music had a special place in my heart . and it always used to calm me down and bring my joy .

Nagaraja dhara needhu parivarulella,
Ogi Bothana jesevarralu gare yadulundathu Ra nee

Nagumomu Ganaleni naajali thelisi,
Nanu Brova ra radhaa , Sri raghuvara nee

Translation :

Oh Lord who lifted king of mountains, all your servants,
Are not ones who have been properly taught,
It cannot be like that.

Can you not come to protect me,
Who cannot see your smiling face,
After understanding my sorrows.
