I largely agree with Thomas Hardy's quote that happiness is but an occasional episode in the general drama of pain. If we leave childhood, then from the time we become a little mature, the pressure of responsibilities keeps on dominating us. Responsibilities of first studying then business/job, then marriage, kids future etc. Rarely do we breathe peacefully. How often do we feel mentally happy in the whole day's routine? Hardly ever. Our brain is always worried about some or the other episode related life's issues.. although everyone is knows that we cannot change our fate just lamenting. It is a better option if we continue our work honestly without worrying it's consequence.
stay safe and happy
