Greetings Foodies
I was looking after my 2-year-old niece Anna on Saturday afternoon, she decided she wanted to try and prepare a pizza for lunch for the rest of the family.
Here are the ingredients we used.
I have often wondered how this pre-made dough would turn out.I saw it in the local Aldi supermarket for 0.99p.
The dough rolls out easily onto baking paper all we have to do is add some toppings.
We are using a can of Italian tomatoes with herbs(oregano, basil) and sugar added. This stuff works very well as a pizza sauce right out of the can.
We made some seasoning using salt, pepper, oregano, garlic, and parsley.
Mixing our seasoning together in the lid of the white pepper made it easy for Anna to sprinkle the seasoning into the sauce.
Now it's time to add some cheese, for this one we are just using some grated mozzarella.
Lastly, we gotta add some pepperoni, pizza ain't really pizza if there's no pepperoni! :).
Ok , looking good, time to pop this in the oven.
The end result was very surprising. The dough is really easy to use and tastes fine. The Italian tomatoes with herbs will always be my sauce of choice, they make every Italian dish taste great, even more so with a bit of seasoning. Grated mozzarella and pepperoni on top, an all-time classic combo.
This whole pizza got devoured, everyone who tried some enjoyed it and was impressed with Annas pizza making skills.
