Last Black Ops Friday... For now until the Sun stretches days longer

Every time I go live, I try to incorporate something new or different. Not just for the challenge, but for the satisfaction of multi tasking!

You see the audio is second nature to me. I added the top view webcam just so I can try understand how I mix music myself. But now we are going full circle cuz usually Artists will say 'watch and learn'...

There are 3 types of learning, and I happen to harness 2 of them. Visual & Auditory.
Watching me perform on screen is very quick I learned. My hands are always catchin some vibe on the mixer, so instead try to hear what I am mixing as 2 different songs rather than becoming hypnotized by the magic jazz hands.

Now the track playing flows over the EQ on the proper channels, doesn't help me trying to explain to you guys the art of music tho! Those 2 songs, take the timing counts by 8, 16 & 32's. Between each, imagine you changing the bass slowly, or the high hats. That's one way to try visualize my connundrum!

I like to compliment the music with subtle engaging visuals to catch a drift. If anyone has noticed, I don't frequent headphones when I am just having fun! Being dialed in with headphones or staring at the DJ program becomes redundant for image in general, I tend to level with them mostly so recordings are minty freeeesh!!

It will be cool when I get some sound reactive lighting to map with my new DJ gear coming soon. What's better than colourful but not full tilt? Fractals =)

Still learning to create more scenes to cycle thru on OBS. My laptop currently is beast mode! About 65% CPU & GPU dual monitors while streaming my Friday Episodes. Getting a tower & curved screen before Christmas, it's about time CCONN upgraded and got serious with some quality studio time.

I upgraded channels 1 and 2 to play the waveform over the EQ's. Next I will have a dancer of some kind but then again I shouldn't run my PC into the molten lava sun when it rises.
