Hello to everyone in the 3Speak community! Today I bring a new video for you. This time it is a compilation of videos that collect all the places I visited with my mother and my partner, in Ciudad Guayana, Bolivar state, in our country, Venezuela. It contains some shots of the most iconic places of the state and that you can easily visit in a week and a half. Although there are some other places you can visit, but that's for another post. So join me on this tour.

During a whole week where my mother was here in my home, we planned to visit several outstanding tourist sites in Ciudad Guayana: La Llovizna Park, Cachamay Park, Cachamay Stadium, Macagua Dam, Ecomuseum Caroni, Orinokia Shopping Center, Makro Centro, Parque de la Navidad, San Felix (downtown San Felix, Malecon, Plaza Bolivar, and Mirador el Gallo), Los Olivos and Alta Vista. They were full days of traveling from one place to another, between buses and long walks to enjoy everything that this state had prepared for us.

My mother and I are from Valencia, my partner is from Merida but has lived in Valencia and Puerto Ordaz for several years, so even though I have been living here for quite some time, I had not yet visited some of the places we visited. He was our guide and knew how to make us know the city as it should be; with eyes and mind open to everything that came. So between sunny days, with temperatures ranging from 37°C to 40°C, we were able to meet our goal. And despite the fatigue and physical pain (walking, climbing, descending), the satisfaction of being able to see, enjoy and contemplate the places visited, makes it all worthwhile.

There are perhaps some things we did that I did not record, but they will remain for the memory. This family trip has made me appreciate much more the beautiful landscapes of my country that, as foolish as it may seem, we are not always able to value. They say that if you don't know your country (its places, its people, its landscapes) it is very difficult to love it. So, go out and tour your states. We did this trip (believe it or not) with a minimum of money, because the parks have free entrance, as well as the plazas and other places. The only thing we had to spend extra on was food and drinks, water and snacks, for the rest (lunches and dinners) we always left well fed. As I say, it is a matter of organizing and planning according to our possibilities. Finally my friends, I hope you liked the video, here a little piece of the goodness of our land. ¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de 3Speak! El día de hoy traigo un nuevo vídeo para ustedes. Esta vez se trata de una compilación de videos que recogen todos los lugares que visite junto a mí madre y mí pareja, en Ciudad Guayana, estado Bolívar, en nuestro país, Venezuela. El mismo contiene algunas tomas de los sitios más icónicos del estado y que puedes recorrer fácilmente en una semana y media. Aunque si que hay algunos otros lugares que puedes visitar, pero eso va para otra publicación. Así que acompáñame en este recorrido.

Durante una semana entera dónde mí madre estuvo aquí en mí hogar, planificamos visitar varios sitios turísticos destacados de Ciudad Guayana: el Parque la Llovizna, el Parque Cachamay, el Estadio Cachamay, la Represa Macagua, el Ecomuseo Caroní, Centro Comercial Orinokia, Makro Centro, Parque de la Navidad, San Félix (centro de San Félix, Malecón, Plaza Bolívar, y Mirador el Gallo), Los Olivos y Alta Vista. Fueron días completos de viajar de un lado a otro, entre buses y caminatas largas para poder disfrutar de todo lo que este estado nos tenía preparado.

Mí madre y yo somos de Valencia, mí pareja es de Mérida pero ha residido varios años tanto en Valencia cómo en Puerto Ordaz, por lo que a pesar de que yo tengo ya bastante tiempo viviendo aquí, aún no había visitado (con tiempo y con motivo de paseo) algunos de los sitios que visitamos. Él fue nuestro guía y supo hacernos conocer la ciudad cómo se debe; con los ojos y la mente abierta a todo lo que venía. Así que entre días soleados, con unas temperaturas que oscilaban entre los 37°C a 40°C, fuimos capaces de cumplir la meta. Y es que a pesar del cansancio y el dolor físico (caminar, subir, bajar), la satisfacción de poder ver, disfrutar y contemplar los lugares visitados, hace que todo haya valido la pena.

Hay quizas algunas cosas que hicimos y que no grabé, pero que igual quedarán para el recuerdo. Este viaje familiar me ha hecho apreciar muchísimo más los bellos paisajes de mí país que por necio que parezca, no siempre somos capaces de valorar. Dirían por allí que el que no conoce a su país (sus lugares, su gente, sus paisajes) le es muy difícil quererlo. Así que, vayan y salgan a recorrer sus estados. Este viaje lo hemos hecho (aunque no lo crean) con un mínimo de dinero, pues los parques tienen entrada gratuita, igual que las plazas y demás lugares. Lo único en que hubo un gasto extra fue en comida y bebidas, agua y meriendas, por lo demás (almuerzos y cenas) siempre salimos bien alimentados. Cómo digo, es cuestión de organizar y planificar según nuestras posibilidades. Finalmente amigos míos, espero que les haya gustado el vídeo, aquí un pedacito las bondades de nuestro tierra.
