¡Hola, amigos hivers! En esta nueva oportunidad en mi canal de 3speak les traigo un gameplay de MU Dragon Havoc, un juego que me genera mucha nostalgia. Este juego marcó mi adolescencia para bien y para mal, ya que lo utilicé como una vía de escape de algunos problemas que tenía en aquel tiempo. MU Dragon Havoc es el juego adaptado de MU Online para dispositivos móviles.

Hello, hivers friends! In this new opportunity in my 3speak channel I bring you a gameplay of MU Dragon Havoc, a game that generates me a lot of nostalgia. This game marked my adolescence for better and for worse, since I used it as an escape from some problems I had at that time. MU Dragon Havoc is the game adapted from MU Online for mobile devices.

Se preguntarán por qué digo que marcó mi adolescencia para bien y para mal. Como ya comenté al inicio, el juego fue un escape de algunos problemas que tenía. Uno de ellos era que sufría mucho bullying en el liceo por parte de mis compañeros, quienes se reían de mí por ser alto, flaco, algo enclenque y usar lentes. Al principio los ignoraba, pero con el tiempo me fue afectando. Además, hubo un problema personal familiar que me termino a tener depresión por primera vez en mi vida.

Un día, mientras cursaba octavo grado de bachillerato, un compañero de sección y amigo mío me presentó a un conocido suyo que estaba en noveno grado. Estuvimos conversando, aunque la verdad no recuerdo de qué hablamos. Pero ese día nos pusimos de acuerdo en salir de clase e ir a un ciber para jugar un juego que estaba muy de moda en aquel entonces. Fue como ir a otro mundo para mí, ya que nunca había ido a un ciber antes. El ambiente que viví ese día me agradó mucho, y experimenté una camaradería que nunca había sentido antes.

You may wonder why I say that it marked my adolescence for better and for worse. As I mentioned at the beginning, the game was an escape from some problems I had. One of them was that I suffered a lot of bullying in high school by my classmates, who made fun of me for being tall, skinny, somewhat puny and wearing glasses. At first I ignored them, but as time went by it started to affect me. In addition, there was a personal family problem that led me to have depression for the first time in my life.

One day, while I was in eighth grade, a classmate and friend of mine introduced me to an acquaintance of his who was in ninth grade. We were talking, although I don't really remember what we talked about. But that day we agreed to leave class and go to a cyber to play a game that was very fashionable at that time. It was like going to another world for me, since I had never been to a cyber before. The atmosphere I experienced that day was very pleasant, and I experienced a camaraderie that I had never felt before.

Desde aquel día, empecé a ir con frecuencia a un ciber para jugar MU Online y compartir con otros chicos que me agradaron. Con el paso del tiempo, ese lugar y el juego se convirtieron en un escape de mis problemas en el liceo y en casa. Lo malo fue que me obsesioné tanto con el juego que descuidé mis estudios y me escapaba de clases para ir al cibercafé con esos chicos desconocidos que, con el pasar de las semanas, se convirtieron en mis amigos. El dinero que mi mamá me daba para comer en el liceo lo gastaba en pagar las horas en el ciber.

Esta obsesión, que era como una adicción al juego, pasó factura al terminar el año escolar: de las 10 materias que vi ese año, aprobé 2 y reprobé las demás. Con esto quiero decir que este juego marcó mi adolescencia para bien y para mal. Para bien, ya que me dejó grandes recuerdos jugando y fue una vía de escape de mi depresión; y para mal, ya que me dio mucha vergüenza hacer pasar un mal rato a mi mamá cuando fue a recoger el boletín, ella confiada en que había aprobado el año.

From that day on, I started going frequently to a cyber to play MU Online and share with other kids I liked. As time went by, that place and the game became an escape from my problems at school and at home. The bad thing was that I became so obsessed with the game that I neglected my studies and would sneak out of class to go to the Internet cafe with those unknown boys who, as the weeks went by, became my friends. The money my mother gave me to eat at school was spent on paying for the hours at the cybercafé.

This obsession, which was like an addiction to the game, took its toll at the end of the school year: of the 10 subjects I took that year, I passed 2 and failed the others. By this I mean that this game marked my adolescence for better and for worse. For good, since it left me great memories playing and was an escape route from my depression; and for bad, since I was very embarrassed to give my mom a hard time when she went to pick up the report card, confident that I had passed the year.
