For the World Championship! [No Commentary Gameplay]

Today, we come back to the Mexiverse and continue our quest to defeat the evil Calaca whose first name is Carlos.

After defeating Calaca's musicians, we finally get to have our rematch against the charro. For that, we'll need to keep traversing the Sierra Morena to get to the Great Temple. There, Calaca is trying to merge both the world of the living and the world of the dead.

However, to get to this temple, we need to defeat the last of his goons, Jaguar Javier. You might remember him from the beginning of the adventure. This arrogant cat is always warning us about pushing through with our quest. Well, it's finally time to see if this kitty can dance!

After defeating this cat, we learnt the only reason he was backing up Calaca was to protect the life of his former mentor Uay Chivo. Yes, the same guy of the Choozo Statues. It is so sad. Jaguar looks like he could've been a good ally. Nonetheless, we have gained access to the Great Temple and we are on a rush to get the top and stop the villain!

And we'll get to the entrance of the place in superhero fashion!

Getting in the temple was the easiest part. As this is the final stage of the game, I was expecting some challenging platforming and some tough fights before getting to the final boss. And that was exactly what this place delivered. I spent some time trying to get through some of the platforming and had a hard time with some of the rooms that were full of mobs.

But with some patience and dodging a lot, we finally made to it to the top of the temple and had our big fight!

Our reunion with Juanita was interrupted by Calaca, who finally remembered he had killed us at the beginning of the game. The big boss was no pushover and this battle wouldn't be complete in this kind of game if the last boss didn't have a second phase.

After defeating Calaca, the world is finally safe. But I'll this image here since we got the bad ending. There are some orbs to collect around the world to get the good ending.

So, we have finished this adventure, but there are more secret in the the world to discover. It was a lot of fun playing this game and would definitely recommend it for anyone who likes playing metroidvania games. I hope you have enjoyed these gameplay videos.

¡Por el Campeonato Mundial!

Hoy volvemos al Mexiverse para continuar nuestra aventura y derrotar a Carlos Calaca.

Después de derrotar a su banda, por fin podemos tener nuestra revancha contra el charro. Para eso, hay que atravesar la Sierra Morena y llegar al Great Temple. Ahí, Calaca está intentando unir el mundo de los vivos con el mundo de los muertos.

Sin embargo, tenemos otro obstáculo en el camino. Hay que derrotar a su último esbirro, Jaguar Javier. Quizá lo recuerden de los comienzos del juego. Ese gato arrogante siempre estaba advirtiéndonos sobre los peligros de continuar nuestra travesía. Bueno, es hora de saber si el felino puede luchar.

Después de mandar a este gato con el veterinario, se nos reveló la información de que solo seguía a Calaca para proteger la vida de su mentor, Uay Chivo. Sí, el mismo chivo de las estutuas que hemos destruido durante el juego. Es una realidad muy triste. Seguro Jaguar pudo ser un aliado muy importante. No obstante, ¡ahora podemos continuar al gran templo y derrotar al villano!

¡Y llegaremos allá volando por todo lo alto!

LLegar al templo fue la parte fácil. Como era de esperarse, este último templo es más difícil que el resto del juego. Hay muchas sección que requieren bastante precisión en las plataformas y las peleas se ponen más complicadas por la cantidad de enemigos. Sin duda fue un reto. Tuve que pasar el tiempo pensando cómo pasa ciertas sección y volver a pasar por otras donde la cantidad de enemigos era abrumadora.

Sin embargo, con mucha paciencia y esquivando pudimos llegar a la cima del templo para luchar con el jefe final.

Nuestra reunión con Juanita fue interrumpida por Calaca, quien por fin se dio cuenta que somos aquella persona que había eliminado al comienzo del juego. Este jefe no fue fácil y esta batalla no estaría completa sin una segunda fase. Esto es muy normal en esta clase de juegos.

Después de derrotar a Calaca, el mundo vuelve a la normalidad. Pero en esta imagen de que verán a continuación se darán cuenta que sacamos el final malo del juego. Hay que recolectar una orbes que están por todo el juego para sacar el final bueno.

Con esto, terminamos con esta aventura. Quedan algunos secretos por descubrir en el mapa. Fue muy divertido pasa este juego y lo recomendaría a todos los que quieran intentarlo. Los metroidvania son juegos muy entretenidos. Espero que hayan disfrutado de estos gameplays.
