Are We All God's Children (4th May, 2021)

This is my response to the above questions, based on what I grasped from Brother Elis videos today.

Being God's children is not something that is forced upon us.
To be God's children, we have to undergo a process that we have to choose either to follow or not.

Matt 5:44: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

For us to be God's children, we must be selfless, we must be after the Good of other people, even our enemies.

Luke 6:35: But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Secondly another way we can become children of God is by shelving our understanding and relying on the understanding of our Lord God.
Prov 3:5: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

We must be ready to forget our earthly worries and follow our Lord Jesus Christ without any doubt in our heart.
Luke 9:23: And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
