Lessons from the mass inductrination day 5 via zoom

It was a great time listening to inductrination teaching from bro Eli. A lot of lessons were learnt and I just want to share few from the lessons.

A man has no power over his body but the woman, also the woman has no power over her body but the man. So, whatever your spouse wants to do with your body, you should alow him or her.

1 Corinthians 7:4-5 KJV
The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. [5] Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

Couples must abstain from sex on mutual agreement when they want to give themselves to fasting and prayer for a period of time. There must be an agreement between husband and wife whenever they want to fast and pray and they must abstain from sex

Isaiah 58:6-8 KJV
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? [7] Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? [8] Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward.

Prayer will never fail where science failed.

Fasting is not just a practice to only make one hungry but it is an act one do with prayer. Fasting without praying is just like an hunger strike. Fasting must go with praying.

There are some things that we need to do during fasting like:
Letting go of the oppressed
Forgoing people's dept
Meeting the need of the needy around us
Generally showing love to people and so on.

1 Corinthians 11:14-15 KJV
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? [15] But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

Man should not cover their head when they pray while women should cover their head when they pray.

Ephesians 5:25-28 KJV
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; [26] That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, [27] That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. [28] So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Husband should love their wife.

Proverbs 19:14 KJV
House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the Lord .

Proverbs 18:22 KJV
Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing , and obtaineth favour of the Lord .
