What is the faith of the thief on the cross? (1 of 7)

Isaiah 64:6 says we're as unclean thing, and that our righteousness is like filthy rags. But we need to realise that there are two types of righteousness - the one of God, and that of man, according to Romans 10:3. And Romans 3:10 points out that none is righteous.

If we relate what Apostle Paul was saying to Romans with what Isaiah said, we will realise that those doing the righteousness of man are on their own. Their righteousness is unprofitable and has no good effect. But the righteousness of God is profitable and cannot be seen as waste or filthy rags by God.
