Last session, we hosted the Connect, Learn and Earn Podcast on X (Formerly Twitter) through the Hive Learners Account. Below is a recording of the session.

ℂ𝕠𝕟𝕟𝕖𝕔𝕥, 𝕃𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕟 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝔼𝕒𝕣𝕟

The session started at 3 p.m. GMT+1, and we had quite a number of people that attended the session.

In the meeting, we had @rare-gem @emrysjobber @nwothini335 @jjmusa2004 and @adoore-eu to discuss about the articles they shared

The first speaker, @rare-gem spoke about the challenges Nigerian faces with the inflation of prices especially during the Christmas period due to the fall of naira to dollar. She spoke that crypto posses a solution to this problem, and a lot of us needs to get out from our comfort zone and get into crypto to attain financial freedom. She said she was influenced into web3 through the internet, and friends which contributed to her writing the article. You can read more about her post here

@emrysjobber shared with us about being almost scammed by an online vendor. He was interested in getting a laptop which he saw on the vendors catalogue, but the prices were way higher than the actual value of the laptop. due to his trust issues, he visited the shop of the vendor and later figured that the vendor was a scammer. @jjmusa2004 spoke about his reunion with his group of friends and preparing for a bachelor's party for his friend. He said he is good at organising things, so he took charge and shared responsibilities among friends. About 2 to 3 hours before the party started, disappointments started coming up, i.e., the person to provide the sound system disappointed, and the gas was finished while making preparations for food. He came to the conclusion that things can only be done well for your satisfaction if you take charge of them yourself rather than relying on people. You can read more about this article here

@nwothini335 made a decision on the 3 things he would want to save when there is a natural disaster, and they were: a first-aid kit, a phone, and a wallet. His decision for the first aid kit is to be able to help any injured person with the kit. He said he has signed up to serve humanity, no matter the consequences. Even if there is a volcano eruption, earthquake, or flood, he will have to stay so he can save as much as he can. He went on to share that the reason for his choosing his phone is to call medical aid to stabilise the person and take the person for further care. @adoore-eu also talked about the same topic as nwothini, the three things she said she would take during a natural disaster are her children, first aid kit, and an emergency kit which would contain items like her certificate, atm card, sanitary pad and so on. 3. It is important to engage with other posts by authors shared in the forum.
4. Sharing your post link means you will be present during the space to discuss the post you shared.
