Blue and orange are complementary colours because orange is not made up of blue. Just as colours complement each other, so does life and the different things within it.

Combining certain factors is a skill, sometimes it looks good and sometimes not so good, but in this case mixing nature, animals, humans and time represented in a clock machine, was not so bad but surreal.

Today I dedicate this design to two enterprising women and artists also within their specialties: @aibi93 and @creacioneslelys. Happy birthday to both of them.

Design process

The design is made with 6 images and in 14 layers.

I made the background with a blue watercolour image enhancing the brightness and contrast. Then on these layers I placed the image of the flowers in different positions and in three layers with fusions soft light and darken.

The woman's face I selected, copied and pasted it into the design stretching the hair with the finger tool. I used darken and focal light fusions to enhance the light.

On one side of the face I placed part of the clock machine with a darker colour fusion.

In the centre of the machine and coinciding with the woman's eye I placed the cat's eye with some fur and worked it in two layers with darken and lighten fusions.

Then I arranged the flower in different parts of the design, in four layers and with fusions of darken, focal light, lighten and lighter colour.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

El azul y el naranja son colores complementarios porque el naranja no está formado por el azul. Así como se complementan los colores también la vida y distintas cosas dentro de ella.

Combinar ciertos factores es una habilidad, a veces queda bien y otras no tanto, pero en este caso mezclar naturaleza, animales, humanos y el tiempo representado en una máquina de reloj, no quedó tan mal aunque si surrealista.

Hoy dedico este diseño a dos mujeres emprendedoras y artistas también dentro de sus especialidades: @aibi93 y @creacioneslelys. Muy feliz cumpleaños a ambas.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño está realizado con 6 imágenes y en 14 capas.

El fondo lo realicé con una imagen de acuarela azul realzándole el brillo y contraste. Luego sobre estas capas coloqué la imagen de las flores en distintas posiciones y en tres capas con fusiones luz suave y oscurecer.

El rostro de la mujer lo seleccioné, copié y pegué en el diseño estirando con la herramienta dedo el cabello. Usé fusiones oscurecer y luz focal realzando la luz.

Sobre lo anterior en un lado del rostro coloqué parte de la máquina de reloj con fusión color más oscuro.

En el centro de la máquina y coincidiendo con el ojo de la mujer coloqué el ojo del gato con algo de pelaje y lo trabajé en dos capas con fusiones oscurecer y aclarar.

Luego dispuse la flor en distintas partes del diseño, en cuatro capas y con fusiones oscurecer, luz focal, aclarar y color más claro.

La animación esta realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
