Hola amigos de #espavlog el día de hoy les comparto un video "no talk" sobre lo que hice en navidad. Hace una semana les compartí el desánimo que sentía en estas fechas ya que por diversos motivos todo apuntaba que no haría nada, sin embargo creía en los milagros y estaba receptiva a que la magia de estas fechas me sorprendiera. Y así sucedió. Fue una víspera y una Navidad bonita. Solo estuvimos mi novio y yo, y el 25 nos acompañó una gran amiga.

Además como verán en el video, logré tener mi propia decoración, algo que me hizo muchísima ilusión. Una amiga está pasando sus navidades junto a su familia en Venezuela y me dejó también algunas decoraciones. Pero la cortina, el nacimiento y las luces fue obra de mi novio, que en su perfeccionismo, quería que se viera realmente lindo y así fue. Ja, ja, ja, confieso que yo solo lo puse ahí y compré el papel. Pero cuando dijo que me ayudaría, me hizo ilusión porque siempre que son cosas de manualidad le quedan estupendas.

También cumplí mi ilusión de hacer hallacas, aunque confieso que todavía estoy cansada. Normalmente la tradición de hacer hallacas se hace en compañía, unos limpian las hojas, otros amarran, otros hacen la masa y así sucecivamente. Mi novio picó todo lo del aliño y yo lo ayudé. Pero lo hicimos todo tarde el 24. Entonces no pudimos comerlas ni hacerlas ese día, estábamos muy cansados. Así que el 25 sí nos dedicamos a hacer las hallacas. Salieron alrededor de 30. Y eso me hizo super feliz. Mi amiga vino y nos ayudó. Comimos torta que mi novio hizo el 24 y lo pasamos tranqui. Me hubiese gustado salir, pero de verdad estábamos molidos. Aun lo estamos, la verdad.

A friend of mine is spending Christmas with her family in Venezuela and she also left me some decorations. But the curtain, the nativity and the lights were the work of my boyfriend, who in his perfectionism, wanted it to look really nice and so it was. Ha ha ha, I confess that I just put it there and bought the paper. But when he said he would help me, I was thrilled because whenever it's craft stuff, it always looks great on him.

I also fulfilled my illusion of making hallacas, although I confess that I am still tired. Normally the tradition of making hallacas is done in company, some clean the leaves, others tie, others make the dough and so on. My boyfriend chopped everything for the dressing and I helped him. But we did it all late on the 24th. So we couldn't eat them or make them that day, we were too tired. So on the 25th we dedicated ourselves to making the hallacas. We made about 30. And that made me super happy. My friend came and helped us. We ate cake that my boyfriend made on the 24th and we had a great time. I would have liked to have gone out, but we were really upset. We still are, actually.
