Opening 51 Diamond Loot Chests for EoS Rewards on June 30th & Opening 10 Chaos Legion Packs

Ahoy, the latest season in Splinterlands ended on June 30th. I did record claiming my End of Season chests in the evening that day. I wanted to do so shortly after season ending but there were some issues so I did it a few hours later. I'm really late with uploading the video though. Bit of a busy weekend, and well yesterday I didn't really feel like writing the post yet so I'm uploading it today!

I once again didn't play Ranked in Wild at all. Of course I've had battles in Wild though when I joined some Tournaments and also for my Brawl battles.

All my ranked battles have been in Modern this season just like last season. I've been around the rating for Diamond 3 regularly but didn't advance until the last day. It was kinda rough those last 1-2 hours before the season ended. I reached the 50th chest but then after some battles I was so close to 51 End of Season chests. Ended up having a loss streak then! Which cost me quite some rating, but luckily once I got another win to get that 51st chest I still had enough rating to advance to Diamond 3. Which I did and then I waited until the season ended.

So yeah I ended this season with 51 EoS Diamond chests. A bit less than last season but this season also didn't last as long I'm pretty sure.

Now it's time to go open those Diamond Loot Chests

From opening those 51 Loot Chests I get the following rewards displayed in a screenshot from splintershare info made by deadzy

Here are those rewards in bullet list:

• SPS: 287.5
• Merits: 435
• Legendary Potions: 23
• Alchemy Potions: 58
• Chaos Legion Pack: 1

Still a really good amount of SPS actually. Not as crazy as last season ending but still some quite big drops for a total of 287.5 SPS. Not a lot of merits and potions this time, but now I did get a Chaos Legion Pack!

Let's look at the cards now.

Common Cards:

• 2x Coastal Sentry
• 10x Possessed Puppet
• 5x GOLD FOIL Drybone Barbarian
• 12x Gobson Bomber
• 13x Terraceous Grunt
• 11x Drybone Barbarian
• 7x Willy Coyotian
• 4x Ferox Defender
• 8x Swamp Spiter
• 10x Dumacke Orc

Rare Cards:

• 5x Riverboat Captain

Epic Cards:

• 3x Kra'ar Xoc
• 1x Iidri Fyre

Well too bad I didn't get any Legendary's in this season ending's loot chests either :( Hoping next time will be better!

Great amount of Riverboat Captain's, now I finally have enough to get him to level 4. I kept him at level 1 all the time because of his low speed to maybe use in reverse speed ruleset. Now that I finally have enough copies for level 4 I levelled him up as he gets the Affliction ability at this level.

Woooow 5 GOLD FOIL Drybone Barbarian sweeeet!! I've had him in Gold Foil twice already but never enough copies to get to level 5. Now I do have enough copies for level 5 so time to level him up and get that Retaliate ability on the Gold Foil version!

These chests with Epic were kinda nice just a bit too bad that still the Clockwork Epic does not want to show up x/

Time to open 10 Chaos Legion Packs like I usually do after claiming my End of Season rewards. From those 10 packs I get the following cards, leaving out the Common Cards (except for Gold Foil).

Rare Cards:

• 1x Thaddius Brood
• 1x Xenith Monk
• 1x River Nymph
• 1x Mycelic Slipspawn
• 1x Tenyii Striker
• 1x GOLD FOIL Merdaali Guardian

Legendary Cards:

• 1x Lira the Dark
• 1x Scorch Fiend

Alright well 9 Rare Cards, 1 Epic Card and 2 Legendary Cards in these packs that's definitely not bad at all. Maybe hoping that some of the Legendaries would've been higher value ones I guess. But at least with there being Legendaries there was a chance for them to be Gold Foil. Which didn't happen but still there were chances.

Sweet Gold Foil Merdaali Guardian! I thought I already had one but when I went to check afterwards I didn't have this card in Gold Foil yet so yeah that was a really great Gold Foil pull then!!
