The hidden history of the band AREXIA 2023 by @antonyjimenezve (ENG)

Is a Venezuelan GRUNGE trio formed by Israel Josué Barranco Correa, Antony Fran Jimenez Naranjo, Giulio Valentino Flores Cereghini since 2003.

Initially the band was called Anorexia and we recorded an album in Silver Avenue Records with the engineer Paul Jatem, the album was called "The Six babes portal" and we made presentations with representative bands of our city.

After two years of work, we had to separate to advance academic studies and to treat some health problems. This separation took place until 2015, when we tried to reunite the band under the name of ANOREXIA ISAN ("ISAN" in reference to Israel and Antony, founders of the band). But there were some inconveniences that did not allow this reunion, but nevertheless we officially released Killing Myself through CDBABY.

Then the name of the band was used to perform a tribute to Nirvana in some states of the country, but with other members. This caused a distortion of our initial project and was damaging the original studio work.

After two years, under this format, we decided to drop the members of the tribute, since we were not making any musical contribution. There was no representative voice and even less a performance to transmit on stage, which caused a definitive rupture with this nirvanera fallacy.

So, a false testimony was raised on broadcast platforms and producers like Avi Asagury, Cresta Metálica and Cerebros Exprimidos accused us of stealing social networks (Created by myself), supported the lie.

For the present, we decided to change our name to AREXIA and resume our work with the original line-up and create new songs.

Even though we are in three different states, we made the effort to work in the closest studios and work remotely; achieving this single called Don't let me down.

Honestly I don't like some things about HISTORY either, but this is the truth.

We got up and now we will have our first presentation on November 11th in Punto fijo, falcon state... Where it all started.
