Esta hermosa canción que se volvió un clásico de la música en español al momento de su nacimiento hay un dato muy curioso que su autor, el compositor y cantante argentino Leo Dan, nos confiesa. El al momento de grabar su álbum le faltaba una canción para terminarlo y luego súbitamente se le vino un recuerdo de un doloroso evento con el primer amor que de una manera fluida le trajo la letra de esta canción la cual aterrizo en papel para poder compartirla con el mundo, pero en eso que hacia la pieza como un requisito para poder terminar de hacer su álbum, al mismo tiempo el pensaba, "ojala y no se convierta en un éxito, porque cantar esta canción me trae el doloroso recuerdo de ese primer amor", pero como si fuese una especie de epifanía, la canción se volvió un éxito tan grande que aun después de 52 años que tiene desde su lanzamiento, esta canción todavía se sigue cantando y escuchando en toda latinoamerica.
