Hello everyone

I hope everyone is doing fine. As some of my hive fellows might know that I was away for some time because of my brothers marriage ceremony and if you are new and don't know about it, hive still works as a diary for me where I have saved all my memories. You can still have a look in here.

We Pakistanis have a ritual of giving a grand treat to all our friends and relatives after the marriage ceremony which is called the dawat-e-walima in urdu and post marriage treat in English. Well, the ceremony was arranged to be on 24th of February which is Saturday so it was a weekend vibe.

The venue was Jigar executive marquee one of great walima halls in our city.

This hall has 1500 hundred of capacity for people but we only had an arrangement of 600 people. So there were two other functions also that night. We selected the middle area for our function and we made it sure that the hall is decorated in the most beautiful way. First I will show you the interior design of the hall and after that we will move to the inside decorations.

This was the interior design of the hall and further there were three more gates allowing entrance to different functions but they had mentioned Infront of every door that which door leads where. Now it is time to enter our door.

Here is a sad news for foodie guys. I don't have any picture from the food part because when it was served I put my mobile aside because I don't trust anyone when food is on the table. I just rushed on the food. But I will provide you enough details about this part so that you might not want the images anymore.

First of all chicken pieces were served in trays, one tray for each table and could be served more if needed. Ketchup was already there on every table (one litre pack). After that they came up with a one kg bowl of mutton on every table and could be served more if needed. Everyone was eating because the meal was really delicious and that wasn't the end. Rice also came after that and in the end sweet custard was also served. I tasted everything to serve the justice with the food.

After the food there was the photography session and behold now.
