Hola, amigos de #GeekZone. El día de hoy les traigo el gameplay de un juego que había estado esperando desde hace meses, se trata de Monster Hunter Now, una entrega para Android y iOS de la conocida saga. Es desarrollada por Niantic, los mismos que hicieron Pokemon Go, y básicamente se trata de una versión de ese juego adaptado a la temática de los Monster Hunter, es decir, que tenemos un mapa el cual encontramos monstruos para cazar mientras vamos desplazándonos por nuestra ciudad.

En el mapa, además de los monstruos, podemos encontrar recursos y paradas especiales donde se concentran una gran variedad de estos. Al comenzar a jugar nos explican que nuestro mundo se ha conectado con el nuestro y será nuestra misión cazar a los monstruos antes de que causen estragos. Como en cualquier MH, contamos con la ayuda de un Felyne, quien nos aconsejará y nos guiará durante nuestra aventura, además de ayudarnos a recolectar ítems y marcar monstruos con bolas de pintura, lo cual sirve para cazarlos cuando tengamos oportunidad.

Durante esta primera media hora de juego me divertí bastante, fue un inicio muy fluido, la mecánica de juego hasta ahora es bastante sencilla. No pude avanzar mucho, ya que como se pueden imaginar, hace falta salir de casa para explotar completamente las funciones del juego, sin embargo, pude hacer lo suficiente para darme una buena idea de su jugabilidad, y puedo decir que hasta ahora, me gusta. Sí, es muy similar a Pokemon Go, pero para los que amamos MH eso no importa e igual disfrutaremos de la cacería.

Quizás lo único malo que podría mencionar en estos momentos es que por ahora la cantidad de monstruos es muy reducida, además de que solo hay tres hábitats (pantano, desierto y bosque), espero que más adelante agreguen más zonas y que con ello vengan nuevos monstruos, que para algo la saga tiene muchísimos. En el video menciono que visualmente no es muy atractivo, pero debo confesar que después de revisar bien las opciones del juego encontré la forma de subirle la calidad a los gráficos y aunque no son perfectos, sí mejoraron significativamente.

No hay forma que no lo recomiende, así que si les gusta la saga o si les llaman la atención los juegos de este estilo, no se pierdan la posibilidad de probarlo, se encuentra gratis tanto en la App Store como en la Play Store, así que no hay excusa para no entrar al mundo de Monster Hunter Now.

A new hunt has begun | "Monster Hunter Now" - Gameplay

Hello, friends of #GeekZone. Today I bring you the gameplay of a game that I had been waiting for for months, it is called Monster Hunter Now, a delivery for Android and iOS of the known saga. It is developed by Niantic, the same ones who made Pokemon Go, and basically it is a version of that game adapted to the theme of the Monster Hunter, that is, we have a map where we find monsters to hunt as we move through our city.

On the map, in addition to the monsters, we can find resources and special stops where a large variety of these concentrate. When we start playing they explain to us that our world has been connected to ours and it will be our mission to hunt the monsters before they cause havoc. As in any MH, we have the help of a Felyne, who will advise and guide us during our adventure, in addition to helping us collect items and mark monsters with paint balls, which serves to hunt them when we have the opportunity.

During this first half hour of play I had a lot of fun, it was a very fluid start, the gameplay so far is quite simple. I couldn't go too far, because as you can imagine, you need to leave home to fully exploit the game's functions, however, I was able to do enough to give me a good idea of its gameplay, and I can say that so far, I like it. Yes, it is very similar to Pokemon Go, but for those of us who love MH that doesn't matter and we will still enjoy the hunt.

Perhaps the only bad thing I could mention at this time is that for now the number of monsters is very reduced, in addition to that there are only three habitats (swamp, desert and forest), I hope that later they add more areas and that with them new monsters come, that for something the saga has many. In the video I mention that visually it is not very attractive, but I must confess that after reviewing the game's options well, I found the way to increase the quality of the graphics and although they are not perfect, they did improve significantly.

There is no way I don't recommend it, so if you like the saga or if games of this style catch your attention, don't miss the opportunity to try it, it is free both in the App Store and in the Play Store, so there is no excuse not to enter the world of Monster Hunter Now.
